Umm...well...

Things have been better. I think I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder. It's not a lot of pain, but just enough to let me know it's there.

My dad's time is coming sooner rather than later at this point. I'm not handling that so well at times.

I have been playing a lot more golf lately, so that's been good.

Shoulder affecting your golf? Gettin' your handicap near low double or single digits?

I know how you feel about losing your dad; when mine passed in '84, it was tough for awhile.

Sorry about your dad, Cruzer. That's tough, especially when you don't live close.

With all those shiny new clubs, the golf game should be setting new records.

No. My shoulder is not really affecting anything right now. There's just a slight burning sensation.

I am comfortably in the single digit handicap range at a 6.7. I've had a pretty decent stretch of mid 70's to low 80's that has helped.

Hi Cruzer. Sorry to hear about your dad. He may surprise you though. My dad was supposed to have died from lung cancer four months ago and he is still going strong. You never know.

Hey all, I laid down to rest during dinner and Orc sent me to bed a few hours after that. I'm not doing so good about getting stuff done, but at least I don't feel like I'm fighting my eyelids just yet.

Came back and neighbor wanted the girls to help with planting some stuff behind her place. I told her they have hand foot mouth and it's highly contagious, but she didn't care. They are bored to tears so I let them.

Divorce was granted a couple of weeks ago, and it looks like I may have to take my pool down. After being set up for 7 years it decided to sink about 4 inches on one side.

Hi Lynn, thanks! Since the ex moved out over a year ago, making it all legal wasn't too traumatic. Still, the betrayal hurts like crazy! I'm getting better and can function like an almost normal adult!

The youngest just started high school and I plan to be in this house until he graduates, hopefully in 4 years! I enjoy my pool so I want to see if I can get the site re-leveled and put it back up. It needs a new liner anyway. I found a local company online that installs above ground pools. If it is going to be too expensive I'll get an Intex.

On a brighter note...got my season 4 Castle DVD set the other day. Now I have the whole set so far! It is supposed to rain like crazy tomorrow so I see a Castle marathon in my future.
