My favorite book is about salt! It's great as an audiobook for long drives, but be prepared to be hungry.
I have a lamp made from Himalayan salt - yeah, it has a bulb inside and you can see the wonderful color of the salt. When no one was looking, I did lick it and it tasted like any other salt. I am truly unlucky - I can’t taste the difference! If I could the lamp would be a part of the curry in no time at all.

QVC sells this exact same package of Gourmet Nut Sea Salts (Item #25331) for $27.86 S&H included. http://www.qvc.com/Gourmet-Nut-(4)-Sea-Salts-Collection-forBlueJeanChef.product.M25331.html?sc=M25331-Zone&cm_scid=zone&cm_sp=MERCHZONE-_-BestSellers-_-2 The reviews (80) are giving it a 4.5 of 5 for recommending this product. (I have not tried it)
Not available in New York City.... "No salt for you" from your looney Mayor.

I know the feeling...
This is VERY slow shipping.
I know wine woot shipping takes time, even if it's not wine: just wish you wouldn't send the shipped e-mail until you mean it.
Yeah, this is getting ridiculous. What did they have to do after we purchased it? Travel to the countries, harvest the salt, package it and then it will ship?
Possibly the last item I purchase from Woot. The last two items I've ordered have taking 2 weeks and I am still without the salt.

Hey all, just a reminder that shipping on wine.woot (even non-wine items) can take 2-3 weeks. From the FAQ: How long is shipment going to take? You should get your wine in 2-3 weeks, often sooner. We know the wait is kind of a drag. But it's still gonna taste good (maybe even better), and since we leave it to the wineries to get the wine to you, you can count on their experience to send their wine using their expert methodologies.

I get that TT, but why the e-mail ya'll sent me on the 2nd saying it was shipped?

Bingo. Why did I get a notice that shipping information was sent to FedEx a full ten days ago, but they didn't apparently touch the package until today? Seriously, what is the justification for that?

Taps foot Hopefully that update will be faster than wine.woot shipping.
This must be shipping via sea turtle by way of china or something, I have NEVER had anything take this long to ship within the the US in my life. "FedEX dumbpost" for the FAiL.

agh, sorry, product hit the system two days ago eminating from the east coast. East coast should be seeing delivery this week and west coast early next week (at the latest). delay caused by logistics delay in getting product to warehouse for fulfillment. This did take too long. product in good shape. very sorry for this delay.

I got mine yesterday in IL.
Still don't have mine, though per tracking it's at least in-transit to my local post office now. Have to ask, why in the name of Zeus, are you selling something that is not in warehouses yet? This has to be the worst woot experience I have had, and I have bought literally hundreds of things from woot.

For many of the food/wine items, they want to receive only the amount needed to fulfill the orders. We (and WCC) aren't built to warehouse food longterm. Many of the specialty items we offer are actually made to order as well.
My Sonoma Gourmet was shattered in many many pieces but the other three are intact. What should I do?
