Congratz mark, what made you jump on these so fast? Are they really that great? I might be in for some but I already have enough people questioning my sexuality, I don't know how "Girls Night Out" on my wine would look

Perhaps Mark is not the purchaser's name, but a verb, and you are supposed to notice his/her spark.

Perhaps this purchase is a gift, and the sexual preference and/or gender of the purchaser has nothing to do with this purchase.

Perhaps I should mention that this is a much better price than when these sold during the recent woot-off, and I am drinking to drown my sorrow for not waiting 3 weeks.

This is hands down the worst purchase from woot I've ever made. Poorly made, seals terrible. Not worth the shipping, let alone the price & shipping.

If Rabbits are available for 2 for $5 almost anywhere, I don't see how these are worthy of a Woots deal !!!!!

I bought one of these at a winery in Sonoma for $6. The guy who sold it to me showed me that he could flip the bottle and nothing leaked. I was impressed. I wish I bought more. They don't leak and seal better than any of the other gadgets I have for thIs purpose, especially to be able to lay them down. I think they are well worth the Wootness. I bought 3 sets to give as gifts (think stocking stuffers).

I almost forgot! Thank you, woot, for selling something that won't go bad sitting in a hot truck or warehouse. Hoping for a great Amarone when the temps drop, but this is a good consolation prize.

Whatever happen to shoving the free cork that comes with the bottle of wine back in for free?

What advantages might these have over a Vacu-vin?

I think it is meant to be a pun and read as weeknight stopper. Though that doesn't make much sense either.

As for the pricing this seems to be a decent deal. On their official website they sell them in two packs that work out to $3.48(you get to pick two slogans) each woot's 6 pack works out to $2.50 each so they're about $1.00 off each.

Upon further research they are currently doing a closeout of a four pack of just safe dials for $9.99 which works out to about $2.50 each. I'm not sure how much shipping is but if you prefer just safe dials that may be the way to go.

Actually that is the same exact price as this one (per cap).

These seem silly, how full is your fridge door that you can't stick a bottle of wine in there? How did you chill it in the first place?

I agree with no leftover wine...however, makes no difference size of the vessel, once the bung is pulled, it becomes a single serving!

Sorry if you had a bad experience mattryan. I will say that you would be the first person to have a bottle of wine leak while using a CapaBunga properly. If you'd like to send it back to me, I will happily send you a new one.

Hello ivioo. This slogan has a double meaning - to help stop you from finishing a bottle on aweeknight and if read quickly, it sounds like "stopper." We thought about saying "STOP 'er" but thought that was too subtle.

Hello madbid, we feel our product is far superior to the Rabbit as it will not leak on its side and it will fit into the dorr without sticking out and hitting the shelf above. Not to mention the fun slogans!

Good question. Free is alwats good, but sometimes not the best solution. Corks have many trouble when pulled and put back into the bottle. They tend to break easily, they tend to crumble bits into your wine, they tend to leak when they are on their side, the stick out of the bottle and hit the shelf above in the side door.....and they are not nearly as fun. I do use cork in my wine (it comes with one on top!), but I always replace with a CapaBunga after opening.

Another good question....some of the vacu products will leak if they lay on their side, but more importantly, many winemakers believe that vacuuming out the air also removes aromas from the wine. The best solution is to spray some nitrogen or argon into the bottle to make it last. And then top with a CapaBunga, of course. ; )

It's more about the cork sticking out and hitting the shelf above. When that happens you sometimes cannot close the door, so it's handy to be able to lay it on its side without leaking.

Actually it's not "Engrish" as you say. We said "Girl" on purpose. It's meant for one person (girl) sitting at home having some wine at night and not finishing the bottle.

I think I would prefer these without all of the gimmicky slogans on them. Make's them seem "cheap" to me. I know you are going for fun with your style, but I think offering something plain would allow these to appeal to more people.
