WOW! 1800 buyers for the last offering. Should be some "unofficial" rattage available.

At this price, buy it. Huge qpr here.

I bought I think a case last time and have two left. Will probably pick up six just to have some more laying around (though my cellar is sort of ridiculous at the moment)...

CT says the drinking window on this is 2010 - 2014, but the last time this was offered the winemaker suggested it was peaking right now. Buy it to drink soon.

This is a VERY nice wine and if I had more money and room I would buy more in a heartbeat-Thankfully I still have some left from the last offering.

it appears to me that this statement is not 100% factual. I was gonna buy on impulse, but I guess Woot wants me to think about it just a little longer.

I have a wine problem. Proudly.
This juice is good. VG for the price and one of the few I'd describe as a 'sleeper' that I didn't see coming the last time so in for two this time. Muchos gracias for the boomerang cesare!

Got this last time (I think it was a Woot-Off combo from Emery) Have had one bottle so far. It is really an amazing buy. Definitely drinks above its price. My wife just texted me to say we're in for two. Woot Woot!

Does it drink above its winery or WW price point? Is it smooth with a long finish? Thanks for any info

Perfect timing.

I was down to one bottle in the cellar...wine.woot, you've been checking my inventory again. Thanks for the timely offer!

This is a remarkable price for a really enjoyable cabernet...get it before its gone!

Be careful when ordering. I got an error message when I hit the buy button but when I checked my account it shows the purchase did in fact process. Luckily I didn't follow through on my normal instinct of trying again and again and again.... Though I guess there's no such thing as too much wine..

Haven't had it, but if you're in buying mode and you see a lot -- like, not one bad comment kind of a lot -- of people making QPR comments, you don't ask questions; you just buy.

I am not buying a single bottle of wine this month, but if I were, I'd have pushed the button before typing this.

The 2006 was named Best of Class at the Nov 09 Sonoma Valley Wine Competition awards.

Some notes on the 2007 Unbridled Cab I ordered last yr for the sake of reference. Good deep color with a good nose and lots of blackberry and pepper. Good tannins for a Cab but not much depth or complexity and the finish is not as long more upper palate. Cabs that are barreled in new french oak,in my opinion, seem smoother with improved tannic structure for improved shelf life. Plus French Oak is 30% more expensive than American which says something about the vintners approach to quality.
Great with anything on the grill.

I expect that 2006 is a good QPR. In for one due to limited space.

Agree for the most part. However, one's QPR is not necessarily another's which is why I was asking for any notes on the previous offer besides "great buy", "great QPR" etc. to make an informed purchase!

I know it is not practical from a business (or general cost) sense, but this is a time where I would love the option to just buy 3 bottles for $35. I don't even have the space or money for 3, but I would buy them anyway simply based on the comments here. There is no way that I have the space or money for 6, and therefore will not buy them anyway.

And I know I could split/sell/trade, but that isn't the point I am trying to make!

According to their website the Unbridled Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 Sonoma Valley was the Silver Medal Winner in the 2011 West Coast Wine Competition.

I'm in for one.

I ordered the 2007 last year, and it was good, highly quaffable wine. Not mind-blowing, not super complex, not something we savored and refused to share with guests (!)--but we surely enjoyed the heck out of it with food and walking on the beach last fall. This sounds like a great deal, and if the 2006 is as good as, or better, than the 07, it's worth it.

Agreed. Seems to me these half-case offers are becoming the norm at wine.woot. I wonder if it's just due to the economics of summer shipping or a new precedent. I definitely miss the good old days when we'd get offers of 3 or 4 different bottles of wine from a vineyard. I am rarely willing to bet on 6 bottles of the same wine if I've never had anything by the producer.

Well excuuuse me. After your reply I looked at the first post and still don't see it. It may be there, I just don't see it.
I asked the question because elsewhere on Wine Woot I read this, "But now it’s summertime, and we’ve been getting a lot of understandable inquiries into how exactly we’re going to keep your wine from boiling in the truck before it gets to you. First, by charging you an extra two bucks for shipping beginning next week and running through mid-September."

Looks like Cesare's template is off today! He has been generally adding this line to the initial post: "Summer shipping is in effect so don't worry about your wine."

Be calm, you know this question gets asked every day in some form or another! I thought that " summer shipping" and "every state liscense, etc." from you was going to appear in Cesare's first comment each day. What happened?

I apologize. Cesare normally puts the summer shipping announcement in his post. I assumed it was there. It's obviously not, so my fault.

To answer your question, yes. But we no longer pay the extra $2. Or at least, we don't see it.

Now, I need to yell at Cesare....
