Does it drink above its winery or WW price point? Is it smooth with a long finish? Thanks for any info

Haven't had it, but if you're in buying mode and you see a lot -- like, not one bad comment kind of a lot -- of people making QPR comments, you don't ask questions; you just buy.
I am not buying a single bottle of wine this month, but if I were, I'd have pushed the button before typing this.

Some notes on the 2007 Unbridled Cab I ordered last yr for the sake of reference. Good deep color with a good nose and lots of blackberry and pepper. Good tannins for a Cab but not much depth or complexity and the finish is not as long more upper palate. Cabs that are barreled in new french oak,in my opinion, seem smoother with improved tannic structure for improved shelf life. Plus French Oak is 30% more expensive than American which says something about the vintners approach to quality.
Great with anything on the grill.
I expect that 2006 is a good QPR. In for one due to limited space.
very informative! Thanks!

Agree for the most part. However, one's QPR is not necessarily another's which is why I was asking for any notes on the previous offer besides "great buy", "great QPR" etc. to make an informed purchase!

I don't even have the space or money for 3, but I would buy them anyway simply based on the comments here. There is no way that I have the space or money for 6, and therefore will not buy them anyway.
And I know I could split/sell/trade, but that isn't the point I am trying to make!

I asked the question because elsewhere on Wine Woot I read this, "But now it’s summertime, and we’ve been getting a lot of understandable inquiries into how exactly we’re going to keep your wine from boiling in the truck before it gets to you. First, by charging you an extra two bucks for shipping beginning next week and running through mid-September."
I apologize. Cesare normally puts the summer shipping announcement in his post. I assumed it was there. It's obviously not, so my fault.
To answer your question, yes. But we no longer pay the extra $2. Or at least, we don't see it.
Now, I need to yell at Cesare....
