Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Whiskey stones or those plastic ice cubes - keeps wine (and my summer sangria) chilled without diluting it!

Sangria, homemade wine coolers (not that malt stuff) for sipping down by the water...

In Sangria, always! Though you can freeze some delicious fruit juice for that purpose... Yum... I really wish it was summer in Seattle.

The question isnt ice in a wine concoction (sangria) it is ice in wine-a HUGE no-no, except maybe in Boones Farm which I suggest is more up your alley if you answered anything but no.

I don't know why, but the weather in Seattle always surprises me. I am a die-hard Mariners fan and watch nearly every game (born, raised and presently residing in Ohio) and I am always amazed how late in the season the fans are still wearing jackets and long-sleeved clothing, and how deep into the season night game temperatures are still sitting around 50 degrees. To be fair, most of you are wimps and I would be wearing shorts a t-shirt in 50 degree weather, but Seattle sure seems to have a late, and short, summer.

I hardly ever do it, but my in-laws and wife do it all the time at home with Tilia Chardonnay. Even they admit it is gauche, but it keeps their wine cold. They would never consider adding ice to a nice white wine, but they're fine with adding it to the cheap-o stuff.
