Then on the flip side, I'm sure the authors are glad you put a lot of effort in. It sucks the most when you get a paper back from review and feel that the reviewer just didn't really take the time or effort to understand what's going on. That's why the last paper from my PhD never got published.

It's much more difficult to say "no" than to accept it. I've said "no" more often than I've said "yes." It's the first time I've reviewed for this journal, and so I sent many comments to the editor as well.

It's fun to do, you can usually learn a lot by doing it, but it does take quite a bit of effort.

anyone recall where we got the detailed play by play of the cleanse diet? I thought it was a TtheC adventure, but can't seem to locate it anywhere. I have a friend who is looking for info on what to expect, and that was the first thing I thought of... circa 2008/9?

It *was* TtheC, and I think he did it in 2009. I thought he set up a thread to track progress. IIRC, he pulled the first several posts that were in the Pub into that thread as well. I can't remember exactly when he did it, but I'm thinking it was in the winter/early spring. So I would check in the first half of 2009...

It was March 2009, the 3/23/09 pub seems like it was around the end of it. See the 5th post down on the first page: Link

Quite. One of each would give a tremendous intro to the brand without really breaking the budget too badly. You'd get pretty much the best spread of what they have, from their lowly "kitchen sink" blend of Murgatroyd, to their everyday drinker *$%#!, to their top-notch Tempranillo, the Spaniard. Throw in their Viognier for good measure, and it's quite a worthy collection.

The Viognier has proven to age well, too.

I noticed that too when I tried to click the non-existent Fedex link from the email. To add to the awesomeness of woot, the email was sent after I had picked up the package from Fedex Office. Luckily I know from previous non-disclosure of tracking numbers to check the references in Fedex. I hope they use the same reference for the Plus offers; otherwise, I'm (my wine) is screwed this summer.

Apparently I forgot how to track by reference. Can someone teach it to me again.

Oh and I received my tracking info today and of course the wine was already delivered. Thankfully somebody was home and it wasn't that hot today. Kind of sucks being 1 day from shipping to delivery. Can't re-route before the first attempt.

Go to Fedex.com. Under the "Track" menu screen, click "Track by reference." From here, enter your reference (typically this has been your order number; I do not know if this still holds for woot plus deals), ship date (which I always leave as default unless I know the date shipped), country and zip (which are self explanatory).
And you should have all tracking numbers associated with that reference. Please note that occasionally when I use this, a couple tracking numbers show up within a given reference number so I receive email notifications from all until woot decides which one to use.

I wouldn't really call it a diet as I was fasting for 30 days.

If you want some info PM me and I'll give you my email address so you or your friend can contact me. There is a ton of info about fasting online, but if you want some personal experience stuff I will be more than happy to share.
