Bump! People are coming, you don't want to miss out do you?

(As an aside, my other than day job is cupcakery madness. I will have awesome exotic cupcakes to share, so if you like cupcakes, let that be an incentive.)

I will be there with the wife (who isn't drinking), sister (who is drinking), and 2 year old (who would like to be drinking)

Excellent. The 2 year old can share our 3.5 year old's toys

I ship. I can't promise the post office won't mangle the heck out of them (it happens to about 25% of the ones I've shipped so far), but if you're willing to take the risk PM me and we can work out details :D

Bump. Looking forward to it!

Also, we can fill in any gaps in Woot Cellars, as we still have some of most... and/or provide a bottle from CyberPub Cellars #1 too!

I don't know; is bass-bringing warranted?

Also, I might have to shuffle something, but if I can come, I'll bring a Boss Monster and a Reboot.

I should know by Tuesday night.

Less than a week away! I'd be in mad house cleaning mode, but it's been too darn hot! Clearing space in the fridge for the whites though, there's nothing like a good cold white at the end of a long hot day.

Exotic Cupcakes!

I am sorting out cupcake recipes (y'all get to be guinea pigs as I prep for a craft show/food market next month) and it's looking like chipotle red velvet w/cream cheese frosting, an orange creamsicle cupcake, a chai cupcake, and a black and tan (guinness & vanilla cupcakes with marshmallow frosting).

Be sad if you're not going to make it for awesome wine and cupcakes :D

Also -- I posted what I new about what people were bringing food wise, but if anyone else has updates, please let me know. Thanks!

Oh noes! I can't go. Couldn't get the garage sale shifted. (I know, that's a cheeso reason to miss it, but I must.)

If NonnaWY's still heading down, I still want to send my Woot Cellars bottles down. Who knows? Maybe she can smuggle a couple of cupcakes back for me.

Just line your pockets with plastic baggies...

Edit: With a 6 pm start, there is still a tiny, tiny chance I won't be too dead to drive down after the sale, but you should probably just plan on my not being there.

I am sorry you won't make it, but will be more than happy to send cupcakes back with NonnaWY. No worries.

I have to cancel. My dad was just admitted to ICU after a procedure. Thank you for hosting . I hope to make the next one.

I will drink no wine before it's time. What time is it, anyway?

I hope you can make the next one, too. My thoughts go out to you and your father.

re. cupcakes

My wife just made Irish Car Bomb cupcakes at my daughter's request. Guiness in the chocolate cake mix. Hollow the middle of the cupcake and add chocolate ganache flacored with Irish Whiskey and then a whipped frosting flavored with Bailey's. And they tasted better than you think.

I didn't see any food allergies in the thread, just vegetarian options need to be available. Does anyone know if those attending has food allergies?

[redacted] Party over. Fun time had by all (I think!). Thanks for coming!

Sorry for the last minute response. I was originally thinking I would make something with all the farm share veggies I was getting, but they've been sparse so far (apparently because of heat and smoke damage up here). Anyway seems like we've already got lots of veggies. So instead I'll bring sweet potato hash on bacon rounds.

Also, I'm allergic to mushrooms, but am happy just to skip anything that's in them. Looking forward to meeting you all tonight.

Meg, thanks for hosting the get-together. I had a great time. Too bad for the record setting heat. We had good food and a big variety of excellent wine. And it was nice to meet and visit with fellow wine wooters. Who knew you were all just regular people? ;)

P.S. The cupcakes were really good!
