Hey Gamers!
Next week is our LAST HAIKU game thread for now (we'll find a new game to play, never fear, we just want to change it up), so this week we're adding a special twist:
This week's favorite Haiku selection author will also get to help me pick next Friday's theme! (Within sanity and reason, all moderator decisions final.)
This week, to remind you all of our turntable room, our "whatcha listening to" thread, our quiet place for lyric quoting, a sale on shirt.woot you may or may not have seen... this week's theme is music!
Tell us how it makes you feel, express the joy from your favorite song, but do it with a haiku beat! 5 to the 7 to the 5! Sum up one of our shirts or totes in Jukebox Heroes, haiku style. Make meta commentary about music - it's up to you1
So now on with the questions.
inkycatz, remind me about haiku so I may mock other's efforts with authority?
Traditional haiku is comprised of seventeen syllables in three phrases of 5, 7 and 5 respectively.
If my haiku is about a song or artist do I need to put that inside the haiku?
No, you can totally put "inspired by" at the end of your post.
How long do I have?
All weekend until it is over, which is to say until Monday morning.
Have a great weekend!

[COMPOSER] no1 marches to a different beat. We found it quite neat.
I'm just hanging out, really.
