Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

All of the above? My stepmothers lasagna that had meatballs, sausage, roast pork, and roasted chicken shredded in the sauce topped with four different cheeses. A true carnivores delight that was probably a walking heart attack in the making but oh so delicious. She was a old style New York Italian that said sauce isn't sauce without four kinds of meat at the minimum.

Something in a medium rare cooked duck breast w/ a balsamic/port wine reduction, roasted garlic baby potatoes and bourbon glazed carrots. Accompanied by a delicious Pinot or possibly a lighter Zinfindel
Makes my mouth water....

Since my favorite dish is jambalaya, it is something...all of the above! Usually make it with kielbasa, hot sausage, chicken, shrimp, and sometimes pork chops. Of course, it also has any vegetables I happen to have on hand. Darn, now I really want to make a batch.

Duck, spicy Thai style. With a cold glass of Gewurztraminer to wash it down.

I demand to be invited over! I do not use Kielbasa in mine, may have to give that a shot. I've got a place that makes killer andouille and smoked polish by the kids daycare. Crap! Now I want to make a batch. Is there a better food than Jambalaya? When I'm feeling high falutin' I'll even thrown some filet in mine.

Aye, we always seem to be missing an "all of the above" in the most appropriate surveys. Also, thumbs up for the lamb.

No, there isn't, although a side of cornbread sounds good too. (I'm a sucker for a good cornbread.)

I'm just hanging out, really.

mmm, I don't know. A really good gumbo may beat out the jam. Best of both worlds is to pour your delicious gumbo over your amazing jambalaya. Oh I'm hungry...

What about Gumbolaya? It's a little fusion dish I made, produced from a moment of indecision. Hint: Todd's Bayou Dirt!
