I drink a ton of good stuff from Paso. This was a bottle my father-in-law brought for dinner. And I like TJ wines, occasionally. They're a time and place wine. That time and place isn't all the time, anywhere, but there are some situations where we like them.

2007 Schug Carneros Pinot Noir, with glazed grilled salmon. This wine was aged to perfection, smooth as silk. So happy there's more in the cellar.

Found two more Tj's reserve labels by Castoro cellars.
2011 petit Verdot $10 from paso and a 2011 barbera $8 also from paso. I had the PV over the last couple of nights. It was very enjoyable at the $10 price point. And they released the 2012 Viognier that we really enjoyed last year as well.

You should have gone to the Wootception. We dropped in on their Mediterranean Madness sale. Great discounts on all their wines.

It was excellent! I think you will like it, it had a savory character to it with the fruit pushing through and plenty of acid, maybe needs a little more sideways time for you

Used a bottle of the '08 Twisted Oak Tempranillo to make some lovely tinto de verano. Found some fancy lemon soda that mixed well with the wine. It went great with my annual batch of gazpacho.
