Oh, make no mistake, I thoroughly enjoyed their CF Icewine, and have others to consider in the future.
It's just I had more of these than anything else on-premise, and so it was.

I've opened one previously. All my notes say is 'Excellent - reorder' lol. I think it was the first of many bottles drank that night. I remember it being as many describe it - soft and feminine with focused, clean red fruit and some additional fireworks. I know it went empty in a blink.

With Merrill talking about how great it's showing from PnP right now, figured I'd give it a try tonight. I'll let you know.

I was just going to email you. I opened it now to have with dinner (to be served at around 6:30) and took a taste. WOW! It's going to rock with the filets we're grilling tonight.

I had one of those not too long ago. It was great, think we had it with a NY strip. I didn't get a lot of it - my wife attacked it, loved it. I enjoyed that more than the wine anyway.

Opened this a little bit ago and wow is it good! Big black fruit, violets on the nose with a little teeny bit of alcohol that actually makes it really appealing to me. Red fruit, primarily cherries, slightly concentrated in a good way. Light tannins, great acid. I really like this.

Help. Just noticed the Double Mag from our wedding day is leaking at the cork. Should I open the bottle? I smelled the top of the cork and smelled vinegar though I am hoping it is only what has been exposed and not entire bottle. I was saving the bottle for a special occasion but that may need to be Today! Thoughts?

If I had a genuine concern, I would just open it and hopefully enjoy it. Not worth it to sit there and wonder, only for it to possibly, or most likely in your mind right about now, be bad in the future.

Agree except its equal to four bottles for two (wife and Me). What if it is still good and we open it and it goes bad over the course of the week? Decisions! Nevertheless, I need to open this in the next month...

2010 Wellington Roussanne.

And I am in a really bad mood. Of all these bottles, I ended up with a single glass of the Ty. Seriously, horrible mood.

Love the Nectar d'Or. One of the first interesting themes for Scotch tastings I organized back in the day was different barrel types. And how could I pass up a Sauternes barreled Scotch??

Villacreces Pruno 2009. Turns out this is really pretty good. For $12 a bottle it has a very QPR. Very nice dark fruits, along with a very smooth finish, make this Ribera del Duero perfect for just sipping. No bitterness, bite or acid like finish.
