Is this the bottle you gave me? I passed on Bedrock last email, but I don't think I'm passing again... too many comments about how awesome it was. I was a little overwhelmed by how many different bottles they offered, though, to be honest.

His production is too small and he is just getting an additional person to join the winery and help him. He was a one man show up until now.

I have sampled 3 different bottles from the last offering and all have been way beyond delicious, and from what I have tasted I think they will last many years. This is a young wine and i'm pretty sure these will be right up your alley. Not to mention if you don't like them I will buy them from you...nice guarantee huh
I'll make sure to open the bottle before the next email.
The PN was delicious. Best PN ever? No. I liked the one you brought to klez's better. Worth the $20/full bottle? Easily. Red fruits, nice acid, some mushroom. I'm back in the PN game!

CT notes aren't very enthusiastic. If it sucks:

Executive decision: both are opened and in decanters. 05 BdM head-to-head.

Wife and I enjoyed it. Only second time I've had a Torrontes, not familiar with them. It was crisp with tropical fruit and some minerality. I would say it was somewhat similar to a CA Pinot Gris? For the 8 delivered a no brainer. Nice summer sipper or in our case, paired well with king crab legs and garlic shrimp on the BBQ. Hope this helps!
***thanks for the PM!
Edit: after thinking it through I would not say tropical fruits...more like peach? Nevertheless, it was fruity and aromatic with perceived sweetness, though not sweet at all. Hope this makes sense?

I opened a 1998 Pertimali Livio Sassetti Brunello a few months ago. It was wonderful. How was the 2004?
