My palate is a bit....incapacitated. Either my allergies have gone bonkers or I've acquired a very bad cold. I'm not typically a huge Merlot fan. However, I can tell that this wine is lovely. It has a very nice mouth feel. I can pick up some dark fruit (probably cherry or blackberry) and something earthy/woodsy (possibly cedar). I like it and bet it would be fabulous if I could really taste it. I forgot I had these... I'll retry it tomorrow and see if my palate is feeling any better.
Cheers!

Finally got to enjoy a Bremer Family Claret from WTSO (2003) with a grilled ribeye.
Excellent combo and what a beautiful wine. I really felt like I was spoiling myself with this one, but at $25, it's a bit of a steal.
Easily compares to many $50+ Napa Bordeaux blends.

Better than the last bottle, but still not a rebuy, even at $12.50.

Sausalito (by Lang) 2008 Zin. Red fruits, a little cedar, nice acidity with a long finish. Great with pizza tonight.

Tonic water, but they way the day has gone I should be drinking a fifth of the cheapest scotch out there.
Nevermind, I am going to go to bed on a good note. Some blended JW gold. night all.

I love left-overs night!
I'm drinking Maker's Mark, contemplating whether I want to eat dinner at 10 or sleep hungry.
