Yeah, and it didn't help I was expecting the 2011 and got the 2012 in that sense. It got way better with air, imo.

Strange, but I'm really not sure. Over two nights I think I kinda get the garrigue thing, not much fruit left, no noticeable alcohol, resolved tannins, ~plenty~ of acidity. Pleasant enough, but just seemed disjointed in a way I couldn't really put a finger on. I rather enjoyed it, but think I just need additional exposure to get a handle on these.

(2003 Muir-Hanna Cabernet Sauvignon Particelli Vineyard)
When I first got a sample of one of these, I didn't think much of it on day one; however day two I began to understand it, I think.
It at first seemed simple, but then I realized it was just what I'd call elegant, and grabbed some.
Anyway, I've got four or five more.
Quite enjoyed it, as did others. Come on down, we'll work on some.

Well I thought the 07 was excellent, the fruit is pure Sangio and you can feel the structure..but the wall of tannin is pretty hard to get through (even for me). I'm thinking pretty traditional producer and will be great in the future.

So in conclusion I am chomping at the bit to get a hold of the 01's
