Someone was asking for this yesterday as well!

Since asking seems to be working, can we get some Scott Harvey Old Vine Reserve Zin?

I'm overstocked on reds ... otherwise, this one I'd take a flyer on for sure.

Sitting on my hands to resist the temptation ... holding out for something awesome in the way of a sparkler ...

Opened a bottle this week. Let it breath for about 20-30 min and it really comes to life. Nice fruit, medium tannins and the smooth finish that has Pete Wellington's finger prints all over it.

I'm just finishing the first bottle and while it's good you can tell that it's young. Now that I've got six more in addition to the other one in my cellar, I'll probably open one every six months and enjoy every drop. No, I won't be gifting this to anyone.

There were no vintner notes in the 2/17 offering either.

I noticed that. Probably for the better, pretty soon the wine is going to have more space in my apt than I am and I'll be too poor to pay the water bill, so I'll have to live on the wine ;)

This woot-off is starting to look like the D&D woot-off, round two, give or take a "food" item... if so, I wonder if Tercero will show up again (hint)?

This was great at Dark & Delicious, and one of the first ones I tried. Would compare it favorably to the Clay House and Ridge Dynamite Hill.

This was one of the top standouts at Dark & Delicious for me!

The owner was a heck of a nice guy to boot!

I am having a really hard time trying to resist this. It's hard to pass up a Peter wine and all of the comments make it sound like this is great. With that people said, I don't really need more $30 bottles of wine!

Allow me to push you over the edge. It's worth it - life is too short to drink average wine.

This wine is definitely worth it. I hadn't had it before D&D, and I'm in for 2, even though I'm on my WIWBM. It will be there for when I start drinking again!

Go Blue!

Sorry for the delay in answering. We were on the highway returning from a short trip when our wine went up on Wine.Woot. The 2009 vintage was almost perfect in that it didn't suffer from too little or toom much rain; just lots of sunshine. The wines it created are very well balanced with enough tannins to guanantee a wonderful tasting wines for several years. The fruit flavors and aromas will be evident for the first few years. It all depends on what you like. I like tasting fruity wines so I drink is young, say in the first four years.
Hope this helps,
rose bud Handal, grower.
