It is very interesting.... You would think the White House would want to support American Vineyards. If they are worried about public perception on cost... there are plenty of good wines out there that won't break the bank!

The pre-Obama White House has a history of serving Iron Horse bubbly. That certainly would fit your description.

The problem is the most transparent administration ever doesn't want the public to see they're living like the ancien regime at Versailles on the public's dime (or is it $1,000 bill given inflation?)....

I think I saw something recently where they were still serving an Iron Horse sparkler.
