“In the entire world there are only a few sounds that bring joy to all but the most jaded. One is the murmur of a kitten purring. Another is the thwack of a well-pitched baseball hitting a perfectly swung bat. And the third is the pop of a cork being pulled from a bottle of wine.” —George Taber

2008 Everett Ridge Estate Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley Distinctively Dry Creek. Readily expresses its lifted, spicy aromas of black pepper, clove, star anise and cardamom. Zingy blackberry fruit drives the flavor by mouth.

The Everett Ridge Estate Zinfandel is approachable and delicious now and through the next two years.

Uncork a bottle to complete any zesty summertime meal. Got spicy baby back ribs? This is your match.

one of the very best views in all of Dry Creek at Everett Ridge too. a great time on their deck is guaranteed.

EDIT: they own Esterlina as well...some details on Everett Ridge from their website.

For those outside of the CA wine world, Dry creek is known as one of the finest AVA's for Zinfandel in CA. Everett Ridge was one of the featured wineries for Wine Enthusiast's feature on CA Zinfandel in Aug 2010. ER was also featured in the Wine Spectators panel discussion with premium Dry Creek Zin producers at their sponsored Sonoma Wine Weekend events...

Each label features certain varietals and generally fruit from their respective or closet AVA's. Virtually all wines are made from one of the families estate vineyards. Sustainably grown and vertically integrated...

This is a Dry Creek feature in prime time!

I've never had this. I'm sure it's a fine wine. But at some point, ya got to pull the plug and move on to the next one.

You mean, kind of like watching paint dry? Over one hour has passed and only about 15% sold. I'd be really surprised if they pull the plug early...one can only hope. The profit per hour has to be taking a hit on this one.

Really wish I wasn't already overspent on reds ... this one would be a great one to have on hand over the next two years or so for barbecue, chili, etc. - dang.

Loved the Rockus Bockus! It's one of the items causing confliction in my fridge. Hate to drink it because then it's all gone, but yet it's so good!

My Rockus is gone - all 8 bottles
Enjoyed the Swami Pinot & the Bright Lights, but Rockus was my favorite.
