In. Got the toffee the last time it came up, and it was very much worth it.

It'll be terrible for my misguided attempts to lose weight, mind.

Got only one of the toffee/toppers combo just before Thanksgiving...regretted that I didn't buy more ever since. In for 2, then will try my hand at making it myself.

Last time w00t sold this, the owner of Brandini was on here answering questions. He said to freeze it.

On another note: for those of you attempting to make it, don't forget that you'll need awesomely expensive copper kettles...they're part of the process.

Just buy the crack and feed your kids Heath bars

And the toffee does freeze beautifully, so stock up those freezers!

I haven't tried freezing the popcorn, so can't speak to how that comes out.

Oh but they do. Just put APO as the city and scroll down to the bottom of the state list for AA, AE, etc. Sorry if I just broke your budget/diet...

My carb budget doesn't allow for munchies like this. Gotta save it for things like WINE!

What better way to celebrate my 200th woot than to send my sister and her husband some of this wonderful toffee? Why, you ask, not order some for myself? Bahwm already took care of that. Who needs another account/identity when you have a beautiful wife with her own black square (and her own credit card)?

I'm about to break down and buy one. That yellow bar isn't getting any bigger...

Its tasty stuff for sure. I haven't tried the poppers and would love to - I only got the toffee and toppers last time. But I still have a box of toffee in the fridge and a backup box in the freezer, plus some toppers that I intend on mixing into some homemade icecream soonish, so I'm gonna pass on this, and instead sit and wish for a Scott Harvey mixed case (had my last one last kiss red last night and really do need some more...).

However, *thinking* you know how to follow a recipe does not mean the toffee will turn out as delicious. ;)
So go ahead and buy at least one, then compare and see if yours is as good.

Definitely true. I've never made toffee, but I've made other candy, and getting it right the first time always seems to be a problem. Also, when the recipe says to stir the butter & sugar until a certain temperature, it DOES mean to stir it constantly for that time (About 30 minutes according to this recipe). That gets boring really quickly. Add in the difficulty in cleaning up pots and pans used for candy making, and I'll gladly spend the $35 to avoid the hassle.

I've resisted this toffee the previous two or three times it was for sale...I finally gave in to the Dark Side and bought two.

I finally fell into a Woot off sleep coma only to wake up and find I had missed the poppers. The toffee is really good but holy cow, the poppers are probably one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted.

Have to confess I'm relieved to have missed this one. I bought last time around with the intention of giving them as gifts.

Currently I have 2/3 of a package left, having decided not to share.

Worst part is I'm doing Weight Watchers. So there was about a week where the majority of points went to Brandini - my diet consisting of toffee, salad & fruit

So is 2+ weeks just the norm for receiving wine.woot purchases? If so, I don't think I'll be ordering anything else from the site. In this day and age, that's a ridiculous amount of time to wait for shipping...

Mine just arrived. YAY! However, it looks like someone sat on the shipping box. I haven't checked yet to see if my toffee is damaged yet, but I did throw it in the fridge.
