Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?
We have food allergies at our house, so this is tricky for us. I'd love some quality meats and cheeses, or even a meal in a box (we used to be members of a great pasta club), but now we have to be more careful. Still a good dinner is a great gift everyone needs and it doesn't add to the clutter, even if it adds to the waistline.
The gift baskets full of chocolate are always welcome in my house.
I'll pass on the preservatives used to keep those baskets "fresh" for far too long!

food gift baskets are rarely vegan, so no thanks...
grapefruit is much appreciated during the cold New England winters!
Bring me your finest meats and cheeses!!
I always gift a foodbasket to my dad for xmas when he visits -- even if it's one i put together myself from grocery store runs. All ready to eat items to help pinch some pennies on his 1200 mile drive home.
