My labrat bottle of saké was trying to bring out my inner Bowtie, but the outer old man won.

You should try these sakés. Not flavored, just straight sakés with different sweetness levels. Very good quality. And at a great price. Similar quality imports are double the price.

Today's our big 7-course dinner and wine pairing benefit for Shakespeare in Delaware Park. I have developed a mild, so far, case of laryngitis. Ugh! Still have work to do to ready the house for 10 guests. Have a week with things scheduled every evening and we're playing hooky and leaving for California at the crack of dawn on Friday! Hopefully, I'll be able to get a nap before the guests arrive--even though I slept until 9:15 this AM. Not optimistic about that. So, plenty of water; Airborne; mucinex; tea with honey and rest when I can get it are going to be in order. Now, off to the market to get some flowers and gourds for decorations. See y'all later!

You're not supposed to wash it in hot water!

Because I don't understand how it can be too small now .... unless it shrunk somehow. With your diet success, you have to run around in the shower to get wet (at least that's what I've heard)!

Anyone happen to recall the conventional wisdom on pouring a vertical? Youngest to oldest or oldest to youngest? I think it's the former.

Seems like when we went to TMR's old wine extravaganza, it was oldest to youngest.

And younger wine sometimes needs time to breathe, so open them first, but I think pour older first.

Edit: Linked to thread, now to wade thru it.

Edit/Edit: Went to close to the end, and found a post where it was mentioned that TMR had efficiently (with RPM & Loweeel's help) posted them in tasting order in the first post of the thread.

So oldest to youngest, white to red. Except that we had a Zin and PS at the very end of the old wines, before we tasted newer ones (supporting cast).

yeah no, the point is when they fit RIGHT you can't get them all the way done up. So its like map scale. Small Scale = large area. Large Scale = small area. So one that now fastens all the way up is too small. Get it? Got it? Good.
