Well, how about "O m g, you live in last post!" a statement that defines "living" as having a presence in a specific area of the internet. As far as the people at rockclimbing.com are concerned, I might as well be dead, since my account is completely inactive that online "personality" died.

Should a site called rockclimbing.com be a social site??? Shouldn't you be out climbing?

Cell phone with an internet connection in one hand, the rope in the other.

Haha, I actually don't advocate that at all, I always kept both hands on the rope as much as possible.

As an additional note, I used to climb outside on week long trips and whatnot, so gear trading/people to meet up with at the crag/sharing strategies and safety tips were all beneficial things that an online forum can help with.

I'm back. North Dakota was more interesting than I thought it would be at 80mph.

Last Post

Oh and bonus fact: Don't speed in a flood zone, apparently the county north of us is trying to fund road repairs by upping the ticket quotas. Didn't get pulled over, but plenty of other people were having a very bad day as we drove by.

I'm sure I flew by on my way into Minnesota. Came back through SD mostly because we'd dropped down to Iowa the day before. I'll be back out that way this summer, at least that's the plan.

It did on the way back (through SD, WY, and MT). I actually joked that we should have gone back through ND since they didn't have snow.

Medical stuff finally entered the treatment phases. The treatments have minimal side-effects compared to some other options that were out there, so hopefully these will work.

My father had a stroke on Saturday. He is doing better every day, but he still has issues with moving his right arm. He can squeeze his right hand, so that's a good sign! He works with a physical therapist, speech therapist, and an occupational therapist daily. My sister takes care of him, and I have offered to travel there to help. She thinks she can manage things, so I'm on standby.

Standby is the worst. I'm sorry. I had meant my comment as light-hearted banter. Our school theater teacher just returned from a week in Florida to take care of her parents, her father is in a recovery center now, thankfully.

Work on the weekend? Boooooo

You learn something knew every day. Uh huh.

Who would have thought that when I played Scrabble I learned that "borg" is not a word. Pfft, perfectly good word to me. Oh and when I thought perhaps it needed to be plural...I was wrong...not a word either...double pfft.

There are loads of perfectly good terms (mostly from scifi that don't seem to be in the scrabble dictionary.

Yes, work. Gotta get stuff done on timetable.

Hope it didn't take up your whole weekend and you got somewhat of a break at some point.

I have a monster pile of mail to get through from being away.

Have a good rest of your day and hope that some of it will be work free.

Hopefully my next time around I'll have time to read back and post elsewhere too. ttyl
