Yes. Until you get pulled over, referring to your wine as "thin mints" won't prevent your inevitable incarceration.

Good tasting notes and remarkable winery participation = SIWBM waiver. Well done, sir.

My Cellar, totally out of date. Useful, I know.

First, for getting my name right... you have no idea what I get most of the time, second because of the more detailed info on the charitable work you do and, third for the great reviews, I have asked the wonder woot! folks to bump my order up to two. I am so looking forward to a delightful (dry) evening on the patio sipping some of your wonderful wine.

Thanks!

Just wanted to let you know that I've been told that our wonderful customer service people can't increase orders during a woot-off as everything sells until sold out. I'm sorry.

alf, make sure you don't miss the discussions for the Friday deal, since that (usually) stays the same for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you end up with a lot longer discussions and usually more discussions with the winery.

A bit of historical perspective, wine.woot used to only do 3 new deals a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday which allowed a lot more time for discussions. That changed 6 months ago, give or take 1-2 months, when they decided to go to 5 deals a week. The upside is more deals, the downside is less discussion time for each wine and less time for winery participation.

Not sure if Jim answered this - Humanitas is a squatter winery -- that is -- we've embedded ourselves at Michel-Schlumberger Wine Estate in Dry Creek Valley where, by day, I'm the Prez. So Humanitas is the 'sister' winery there and we are all one big happy, and very incestuous family. And as I take nothing from Humanitas financially, dedicating all to the wines & to the charities...hell, I need to feed my own kids somehow! C'mon up to Michel-Schlumberger outsdide of Healdsburg in Dry Creek Valley and get a two-fer -- Michel-Schlumberger AND Humanitas!!

The quasi retun of German Techno-Pop only somewhat disturbs me -- but I like it! I have to tell you that I make wine in the same way song-writers write songs...that is...there is something that inspires the wine. It isn't all chemistry -- it is emotion & 'feel'. There are people & situations & evocative things that 'inspire' certain winess. Seriously.
