This seems to be the only wine listed on the website. One of two products offered including the t-shirt. Please tempt our wallets with some more information!

I like to talk about wine, but I'd rather drink it.

$20/bottle 200/case from the winery. No shipping costs stated...
Does this also come with a T-shirt?

Well the Twenty Rows affiliation offers a little more insight. Is this the leftovers from the barrels that didn't make the cut for another label?

Speaking of barrels, what is the cooperage?

I like to talk about wine, but I'd rather drink it.

Yo man, should these twist-off beauties be laid down, or are they ready to go?

It's interesting the cab is from the Howell Mountain AVA, outstanding juice typifies that AVA.

Shouldn't write-off twisters for reasons of snobbery... although losing the opening ceremony and the thrill of discovering a bad bottle is kind of a bummer.

I like to talk about wine, but I'd rather drink it.

Stillman's Zeppelin juice comes in screw-tops and they are great wines! This is just one off the top of my head. After opening expensive bottles that have been corked, I'm all for new methods of keeping wine fresh.

All shipping of product is done by the winery so the list of states to which each day's sale can be shipped is determined by the winery. Since each winery must go through the process of acquiring a license to ship to any state there may be some discrepancies between woots. Perhaps some wineries have bought the license to ship to New Hampshire, but if it's not on the list of states to ship to then this one probably hasn't.

Very unusual label. Jamaican flag colours on the 11 for the reggae. Due to that I misread the label as "elevensauce", though in that case I'd expect it to be full of chili peppers and tomatoes. Perfect for Jamaica!

If you knew anything about snobs you would know knowledge about wine or closures is irrelevant.

Has anyone tried this vintage? or the 2007 ? Inquiring minds want to know.

Instead of discussing the merits of snobs, corks and twisties...how about talking about the red stuff inside the bottles? Not really much of a summer wine drinker so would love to know if this is worth snapping the towel at for fall and winter drinking.

I have tried the 2007 vintage. It was very nice. Fruity, good acid in the mouth, not a ton of body, but a great wine to sip while tending the bbq. I'd bring out something with a little more substance for the main course.

First time participating on this Blog, but I have to admit I learn mucho from following the comments from the regulars. Thanks!

By digging a little, looks like this offering comes from Vinoce Winery. Maybe that will help the regulars know if all of us should pull the trigger!

I'll try Rhomboids we all like for a $1000, Alex.

I'm new to this, but does occur to me that one negative of screw cap closures is that you lose a couple of signs of a cooked wine; specifically cork that has been pushed out or expelled wine residue.

I'm guessing the benefit of avoiding corked wine probably outweighs the loss of outwards signs of a cooked wine, especially if I were to open one of the bottles and drink it within a few days of delivery (you know, in the name of science and all to make sure it wasn't cooked in transit)

I believe the only reason (apart from aesthetics) to store wine horizontally is to keep the cork from drying out... so I think you're fine either way.

Beautiful bottle, the wine sounds nice and screw caps don't bother me a bit. In for 2.

Now I do wish the various wineries would add Maryland to their shipping lists-these people have waited a long time for this.

Hmmm. Not exactly an enlightening discussion. I guess I haven't missed anything on these threads over the past weeks.

This wine is not expensive for Napa fruit, but it's higher in alcohol, and was harvested at higher sugar, than I prefer. Very likely not my style, so it's an easy pass.

Is there a way to deduce residual sugar from the existing stats of 15% abv and 25.0% average sugar at harvest? Do we need to take into account significant figures?

Oh, it's probably fermented reasonably to very dry. My point is primarily stylistic - hot wine with overripe flavors (which 25 Brix implies to me) is not for me.
