Scott Harvey posted on the Wine.Woot Facebook page that some of the Jana was delayed due to a warehouse inventory.

Thanks so much for the update. I missed that note. Happy to wait for this.

Oh my god, this is an OUTSTANDING wine. I opened a bottle earlier tonight and am now regretting that I didn't order 3 sets when I had the chance. Luckily, I have a couple from a previous order, but am still wanting more!

I would not have placed the order for this had I known it would not ship for 2 weeks.
If it ships today, it won't arrive in IL until next week. Starting next week, I'll be out of town for 2 weeks.

I'd see if you can contact the winery or have wine.woot do so, given the unusual circumstance that held the order back. No sense in having good wine rot outside your door for 2 weeks : (

I'm really quite ticked of at this point. Fed-x had the delivery date for the 6th for a week...then it changed to the seventh...neither date was the wine delivered, now the tracking is showing nothing!! No delivery date, no picked up...nothing. Now I have 4 bottles of great wine lost somewhere between Scott's vineyard and Florida.

There is really no point in trying to explain liberty to people who don't understand what it means.

Apparently it hasn't shipped yet:

Your 4 bottles must be hanging out with my 4 bottles, my tracking number is also worthless. I had the same problem with the truffle butter from the woot off, tracking number never worked and then it randomly showed up at my door with a different tracking number one afternoon.

Since the warehouse was closed for inventory causing the delay, perhaps now that it has opened back up everyone who had wine that wasn't already shipped is getting a new tracking number? It would explain why the old tracking numbers have become invalid. Just hope that if that is the case we will receive another email with a new tracking number.

Any additional updates on this shipment? I am still in "shipment information sent to FEDEX" status. I hoped it would ship today but does not look like it has moved.

I'm in the same situation so I emailed the Winery directly and here's what Jana Harvey had to say:

Hi Chris, thanks for purchasing our Jana Cathedral. When the warehouse re-opened on July 5th, we got all the wine to Woot the next day. Everything should’ve been shipped out right away from there. You will probably be receiving your wine any day now (if you haven’t already).

So sorry for the delay. It will be worth the wait……..

Well I also sent Jana a message and got no response, but by some miracle, I now have an updated shipping schedule and wine to be delivered on Thursday.

I as well have the updated Fed Ex schedule with a date for Thursday! Looks like all the shipping information was staying correct but the shipment was delayed due to the taking of inventory. When everything completed and got on its way things proceeded as normal.

My tracking number is "working" although it seems my 2 day service isn't going to be 2 days, probably 4 days. Looks like the wine had some issues making it through Oakland (you shouldn't have 6 entries for the same city). Hopefully it's not cooked when it finally arrives....what's up with Woot and all the shipping issues lately??

{all the FedEx shipping info was here}

My shipment shows similar information. It should have arrived today but did not make 2 day delivery. Shame to think my wine sat out for a couple days in Oakland.

Got ours this morning, enjoying it thoroughly presently. Talk about worth the wait!

Mine arrived today as well. Already cracked one and, for the first time EVER, I tasted cherry in a wine (never tasted it before, even when people insisted it was there). STRONG. And had a nice, smokey smell upon opening.

I was going to save all four for a while, but (and thus far, this is my only complaint about the wine) the bottles are oddly shaped, which looks fancy and neat but unfortunately doesn't fit in my wine storage fridge, and my basement (read: storage room) is hovering between 62 and 64 degrees, not remotely optimal for aging. So I guess I'm drinking these in the next few weeks...

Whoo! Finally got my Cathedrals yesterday and I've never seen anything so pretty...or so oblongly shaped but that just adds to the character, kinda like a unique steeple.

One odd thing though...although none of the bottles showed signs of leaking the styrofoam holder had what looked to be wine stains on the top of and inside the lid. Hoping that means there was some sloppiness when packing with a different bottle and not any that I received. Has anyone else experienced the same thing in their packaging?

There is no reason that this wine can't age well in a consistently temp'd lower 60's range. Don't fall for the 'wine fridge maker's' hype!

Those temperatures are not optimal for aging for 10 years but I don't see a problem drinking the bottles within 2-3 years or even more if you don't have a large fluctuation in the temperature.
