so....business has sucked lately. We already laid off one person. And a new clinic is opening less than 3 miles from us. The former 'head' receptionist from our place is going to be working there. I think she will take every opportunity to undermine us cuz we let her go.

well, I could actually get a job in another state w/o those silly credits...NY is one of a very few states that won't allow me to sit for the tech exam w/o the assoc degree. My bachelors degree is good enough for most states.

lol....true. But when I hear my brother talk about having his house sprayed for black widows and the other critters, it just makes me sooooo nervous about having cats there - who love to chase bugs.

Not for black widows, but my mom and sister in western PA have their houses sprayed every year for spiders.

well, I don't mind spiders, in general. I actually find them to be fascinating. Just don't want the risk of having an cat/dog injured by a poisonous kind.
