I too can commiserate. Flew out the west coast just over a week ago and 8 hours in coach on 2 747s and a dash-8 had me pretty messed up for the next 2 days.

Hi all, had a great time in New Orleans yesterday. Our church gathered backpacks filled with school supplies and we took it over to La Place to be donated to kids in the area who needed them.

Going through the flood area was surreal! The outside of the houses, the grass, trees, and cars all looked perfectly fine. However, there were BIG piles of trash in front of the houses. The inside of the houses were ruined by the water. Because the water came up and went down so fast there was no water lines on the houses or trees. The grass and trees were not hurt, most of them anyway.

Then we went on a driving tour of New Orleans as two of the three who wnt had never been there.

The Garden District was beautiful! We went by a couple plantations, and drove by the French Quarter. It was okay - very tiny streets and everything crowded together. To be honest I don't see what all the fuss is about. I would not like living with people so close that you could almost pass food between the houses through the windows.

Anyway, it was a long day. Left at 5:45 and did not get back until about 8 last night.

To each their own. Besides it said it's absorbed and the skin goes back to normal after 24 hours or so. I've seen the same technique used to grow skin for skin grafting.
