And how much do you think they'll need? It's still probably going to be around $70-80/bottle if it is offered.

I am hoping so hard it isn't Corison. I CAN NOT buy this month. Wine festival next weekend + books for school tomorrow + fiance with expensive taste + saving for New York trip = February's budget is already spent.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NOT CORISON.

Kronos as the vector to Helios is more likely.

Kronos/Cronus was one of the Titans. Is it too soon for a Titus reprise?

I'd like some Corison... had not started buying the last time some was offered and I've been regretting it!

It is well to remember that there are five reasons for drinking: the arrival of a friend; one's present or future thirst; the excellence of the wine; or any other reason.

Do any of you know how long the average order take to get delivered? I need these wine filled truffles to be mailed out to someone else again for valentine days once I received them. I know I could have asked woot to send them directly to the other party but I needed to put something else along with these. Thanks!!!

I live in Alabama I order wine all the time but on Woot’s list they don't deliver to us here. Anyways I purchased this on the 29th never got a confirm mail. I mailed to see how long it will take. They said “As stated on what is Woot, wine orders will take 2 to 3 weeks for delivery depending on your location”.

Just an FYI for you guys wondering about delivery and such. In terms of getting them and shipping them out again in time for V-day...it'll probably be close.

Try replying to your order confirmation but changing the address to service@woot.com . Got an automated response immediately (never happened before) and an actual [yet to be proven usefull ;)] human replied within a few hours.

I've got a sneaking suspicion that they're going to end up having to send this stuff non-ground at this point...

Woot better hurry with this one, I ordered the photo paper from sellout the same day and it's scheduled to arrive the 7th. I have yet to receive a tracking number for this. I'm going to be pissed if this is shipped via smartpost and it takes an additional week from the already delayed shipment.

I replied to service@woot.com. First time around I got nothing back. So I sent it again last night and got the auto feedback within second. I am hoping a human will respond today. I need to start looking for backup option. This sux.

Need to respond to this. I remain very confident these will arrive before Valentine's day, but note some of these packages may use every transit day to make it in time. i.e. delivery on 12th, 13th.

Sorry if this puts you in a bind.

The last order I placed with wine.woot.com came almost 1 month to the day after I placed the order. I emailed and they said they had problems getting the item from the producer. Sounds like wine.woot is starting that whole trend of sell what you don't have yet. I know that warehousing products costs money and time but seriously, this is crazy! They sell a valentines day gift item in late January and we can't even get a shipping confirmation or tracking number by almost mid February (2/10/09 to be exact)?

This is my 4th and last order from wine.woot.com I think I'll just stick with the regular puke green woot.com for now. The wine people seem to be having problems.

P.S. I purchased because Dave (woot staff) said on 1/29/09 they would be deliveried by Valentines day. I will forward my wife's complaints, dirty looks and dissapointment to Winedavid39. She was so excited when I told here I got these as part of here Valentines day gift.

Sure, I know (hopefully) that we will get these before V-Day, but why is Woot cutting it this close? Only 6 days left! What if the shipping company has a delay?

I told my wife that we're having some for dessert with the dinner we're cooking and hopefully they make it. You can ship to almost anywhere in the US in 5 days with ground shipping - why is there so much whining prior to missing the deadline?

Give them hell if they miss the promise but until then calm down. Are you guys the same ones that complain to the gate agent at an airport if inclement weather delayed your flight and expect them to magically resolve the problem?

Hahaha...you rock.

Just checking in to see if anyone else had received shipping info yet--sounds like a no. Glad I'm not alone, hope it still makes it! Then again, it's a V-Day present for *myself*, so I suppose it doesn't matter all that much. ;)

I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the logic missing from that poor airport analogy. Bottom line - weather can not be controlled therefore yes it is dumb to complain about...although it may feel better. Quoted shipping times that were made and are in danger of not occurring can be controlled. And are being controlled poorly as of yet.

But I still have hope, which will be greatly diminished by this time tomorrow if it has not shipped.

Umm, we humans can't control the weather like you said, but a company that sells something and still has failed to ship it is controlable and frankly, I do not see why or how they would sell an item that is time specific when they obviously do not have it in sock yet or they are waiting for delivery from their supplier. (nice run-on sentence there ) That's all I'm saying. I just hope we get it by the 14th! I hope this is not a repeat of my last order from this site. Like I said, 1 month turn around on shipment. My last purchase was not wine, it was the spiced oils they had for sale back in August, deliveried in late september!

The point was that you're complaining to someone that likely has no control over the shipping delay. You can't honestly believe that WD has control over the entire shipping operation do you?

By using some simple logic - it's in WD's best interest to ensure that everything he says is true so to make everyone a repeated customer. It's good to hold him accountable but you have to be realistic about it - the likeliness of this being a problem he can correct is small.

WD does owe wine.wooters an explanation though - there is definitely a reason to be concerned that the truffles will arrive post-v-day
