I met zilla last night for a little while since he was visiting New England for work.

He calculated that he is banned from woot for like 115 years or something like that. He was only slightly bummed as he was one away from getting his black box.

He was, of course, very flirty and affable.

I don't think he understood how variable New England weather can be as he was wearing shorts.

He had a funny accent...and talked about "round abouts". Around here, they are called "rotaries," I explained.

Nice guy overall.

I was just thinking, our church has designated hugger (she hugs each person on their way in!). People here frequently touch while just chatting. It's not weird for someone you don't really know to hold your shoulder or arm while talking.

There was a girl at school who used to sometimes put her hand on my arm a lot, also calling me "hon" often, even though she had a live-in boyfriend. I think it was just how she treated everyone, though, but it reminded me of another girl who seemed to be interested in me, but I was not interested in her (didn't find her very attractive, and she reminded me a lot of my mom, in a bad way). The way both of them rested their hand on my arm, though, struck me as possessive, and I honestly found it rather offensive (especially from the interested girl)... they didn't own me.

Some people just have to be touching to talk! It is strange when you talk about it, because in most cases they probably aren't even aware they are doing it. It doesn't bother me, but I am cool with touch and I've been known to get a bit touchy-feely.

I can be a bit touchy-feely too. I've become more conscious of it as I got older and try to be more careful about it.
