I showered, threw my hair up and slipped on some clean pajamas. I am not leaving the house today.

My intention for today was to wash my sheets and type up April's calendar for the organization to which I belong. The sheets are in the dryer. The calendar is non-existent.

Tomorrow's intention is to get ready to see my tax guy...which will be a pain in the ass as it includes receipts & excel spreadsheets.

My day's going well because (A) there's lots of goodies to eat from a card party we had last night; (B) my taxes should be sitting on the IRS's doorstep tomorrow morning; (C) I'm reading a fairly easy job; (D) because of the card party, my house is clean; and (E) the sun's shining and it's almost 60. Aren't you sorry you asked?

I actually went (gasp) outside! Took down the Christmas lights, picked up all the sticks on the lawn, mulched all of the sticks and downed limbs from the windstorm, and changed the oil in the chipper.

I resisted the urge to fire up the tiller and play in the dirt. Everything is still frozen solid 1 or 2 inches below the surface, and will be for another month or two.

I should go back to playing on my farm on Facebook. It's always spring there.

That may be correct, Miss, but if a person isn't exposed to those creatures and their allergens then one is more likely to develop allergies to such beings. Judicious exposure is recommended.

Okay...so I decided to go to bed early tonight...and Sweetie, my petite 8 year old kitty, had other plans.
