not saying it doesn't change the way you feel
Nope. Hearing it, though, changes the way you feel.
ObHate: I hate not knowing.

feeling disappointed sucks
Not as much as being the one that CAUSED someone to feel disappointed.
Just came through a year of that. Coming out the other side of it sucks, too... but less and different.
What are you moving on to? I'm doing some moving on myself...
I hate wondering instead of doing, yet I find myself wondering...

a bigger house, a better paycheck, and a different lifestyle...i.e. non college life style.
I hate being more mature than 30 year olds but not having the experience of a 30 year old.
I hate being right most of the time (trying to continue the thread). Most people don't want to hear the truth, they want you to agree with them, regardless of "right" or "wrong." Then again, most people won't listen anyway.
From someone who has had the money (made $120/yr salary in my best year financially), it's not worth it. $40,000 is fine for me, $60,000 is comfortable, anything above $80,000 just isn't worth chasing - the effort is more than the reward. The lifestyle is what matters... and I wish I'd understood that in my twenties.
It sounds like you're going the right way...
