Oy...busy yesterday. Didn't get a chance to check back in.

Yes, still playing in snow. I really do like snow, particularly if I don't have to drive in it. The snow banks on the side were 2-6 feet high--higher towards the top of the driveway, plus a big pile at the corner of the driveway and the sidewalk. We had rain yesterday, so a bit of an icy drive on the way in this morning. But some of the snow piles are a little shorter!

Moon was still up when I left this morning.

My speech is not parsing. I am speaking in ellipsis.

Joe in Showboat.

Being an alto in an all girls school has it's advantages.

btw, the guy on Broadway played Joe the same way I did. The movie was the old view of blacks. I wasn't going to do that in 1972 in a black neighborhood.
It was long enough ago that I was in black face. Nobody knew who I was!

Were there no African Americans at your school? Or none of them had the right voice for the role?

Lovely picture!

Do you have a snow blower to clear the snow when the banks are that high, and the shovel is just for decorative fun?

That's all manual. No snow blower. dougall and I share the work, but it's still all muscle power.

That must be quite a workout to toss snow onto a 6-foot high pile!

Only if you try to toss it on the top.

dropping snow on the bottom of the pile is a piece of cake.

How did the pile get so tall, then? And wouldn't the base eventually get too wide?

It got up to 64 today and I had the window in my office open. I know it's not going to last, but it was so nice for a while.

Good morning all.
Mrs Ice has booked me on a little vacation to visit my grandbaby next month. I can't wait! It's been a year since I've hugged her.(the baby, not Mrs Ice)

I don't trust those in most places, particularly at Golden Corral. I see what kids do there.

Golden Corral is annoying me. I loved their macaroons (supposedly for use with the chocolate fountain but I never did) and now they don't have them anymore. Also they had a terrific broccoli salad that also disappeared. Booooo
