Cortot, don't you have some H-D PS? Young, very young, but also fair game.

I drank it all.
Just kidding...

I'll grab one of the 12's.

I think lost was providing whites.

Done. Not sure what will pass lost's case production limit, but I'll grab 2 or 3 bottles total. Maybe one bubbly.

Tonight was awesome all.

Cory, tell C that D is pissed I didn't bring her some of that eclair heaven made of magic thing.

My WOTN was the '03 St. Supery Rutherford CS followed by the Calcerous MSG.

Lost, thanks for the spread. Tell T the same.

It was fun. Thanks Lost and family for opening your home.

Thanks for the kind words.

I really liked the st. supery as well but my nose wasn't working and I only tasted 4-5 of the wines so I'll abstain from declaring a WOTN.

Ummm, you guys are all packed up and home? What's going on out there? It's 3:30 AM and we just got back from Midnight Mass with full tummies! Need to be at choir rehearsal at 9 AM. Good times, good wines and met new friends tonight! Wish we could have joined some "old" friends!

Thanks everyone for coming out! Had a strong contingency of wooters in the SGV! We had a great time and enjoyed the vino, CAH, and more importantly the great company. Sorry about the 10pm curfew but mommy and daddy duties came calling at 6am this morning 👬

Lost and Lost+1: Thank you so much for hosting and preparing a delicious spread of food. I'm actually glad we ended early since it was over 24 hours since we got up on Saturday morning.

Klezman and Molarchee: thanks again for the limo service. Don't know how we would have made it there otherwise.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and bringing wine and food, and especially greeting us with open arms. We felt like we made some "old friends".

RJQ: Thanks for being there in fluid, even though you couldn't be there in person. I hope your SWMBO is doing well.

Regardless of the next 9 days this gathering will be a highlight of our trip.

If any of you ever get to FL, let me know and we will reciprocate the hospitality.

Kyle I never did take notes on the places you told me to visit in Paso. Would you mind listing them again?😬

I also loved the Calcerous MSG and will be sure to make a visit there.

This thread on Paso Wineries will get you started.

There are wineries on the West Side (Tablas Creek, etc.), on the East Side (Vina Robles, Clautiere, etc.), and in the middle (Clayhouse tasting room) off the 101. Plan wisely!

Edit: There are some tasting rooms by the square (where the Clayhouse tasting room is off of), some are shared (more than one pouring there). One of PetiteSirah's favorite Petite Sarah producers is there, Aaron. Young winemaker, but very good wines.

The only elements missing were Scott making fun Klez's yakkish palate. And RJQ showing up (like Santa) with cases of wine for everyone and everyone bringing even more cases for him. And then RJ sleeping outside under your tree all night.

Great time last night Lost (and Mrs. Lost and papa Lost)! Thanks! Great food (with veggie options appreciated) and great variety of wine and friends (old and new). Congrats on the relatively new house too. Even losing miserably at CAH was not too painful. We missed you RJQ.

Glad to read that everyone seemed to like the 2003 Bremer Family Claret and the 2009 Calcareous Tres Violets (M.S.G. blend). It's a shame the Tantara Syrah didn't get opened, but maybe next time.

Pseudo (and hubby): don't waste your time on the tasting spots in the Paso square (unless you have little time or are staying right there). Get out and enjoy the wineries. You can message Redhead11 and she can give you some suggestions too.
