Isn't it amazing that you can have a thousand bottles of wine and can't figure out what to drink maybe less is more?

My next bottles will be Cali rhones for a charity thread on WB.

Still in the wine fridge, where I keep only my choicest of wines.
Out for dinner, so at a local restaurant we had (unknown vintage) Mouton Noir Horseshoes and Handgrenades.

Wellington
-2012 Roussanne - really good
-1998 Merlot (Mystery case), pretty tired

Edit: Marsanne not Roussanne

I had one in '13 and again in '14, with (sigh) no notes to help my failing memory. This one didn't get much decant time and was a tad tart, but other than that tasting like a 10 yo cab. Half bottle left I'll get to in the next day or so to see how it is holding up.

With the bottles I've got remaining, it better be holding up well!

No. I suspect they will be offered as a pack. I'm guessing a 4 pack with two of each. The estate far superior! BTW you know and like this winery.

Makers mark, brown sugar syrup, dash of bitters, orange peel around glass then drop it in. Serve with one big ice cube.
