Hopefully catch you both on our next trip out west.

Thanks, and absolutely.

I will very likely be coming, but I don't know if my +1 will make it. I'll bring something gooey for dessert. I don't have a lot of PS, but I'll see what I can do.

Sparky, you have 2 bottles for me: Scott Harvey Early Burgundy and Cab Sauv.

Alright, I'm in. No SWMBO, though. I'll bring some meatballs for an appetizer.

Are we really doing PS as the theme? I vote we have a myriad of varieties, not that my vote should matter.

No idea what wine I'll bring. Something nice as these are the best opportunities to open such bottles.

I have an '09 Rhys. Or Lillian Syrah. Or Kutch. Or an 07 K Syrah. Or... Pseudo, whachoo want?

Love Syrah, but really I'm good with anything. Bring whatever is your favorite.

No, PS does not have to be a theme. Good reds is good enough!

Glad you can make it. I've wanted to meet you as I tend to like wines that you've said you liked.

BAD sign, my friend.

Syrah + Lost's fetish for low production wines = 2008 Hudson Vineyard Syrah “Whole-Cluster."

60 cases made. 92 points Tanzer for whatever that's worth. And I've been dying to open this.

Tanzer usually gets it right, IMO. Certainly better than Parker.
Sounds like a great wine. Wish we could be there.

After years of waiting, we finally managed to get together with Kyle after the 2014 rpm tour, while we were visiting the LA-area cousin. We had a very enjoyable lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed his company. We'll have to keep waiting for an opportunity to catch up with a few of those other SoCal folks, but we're very persistent.

There'll be between 10-12 guests today. We will be in the backyard for the first portion-nice day with temps in low 70s but will be around 68 at 6pm so bring something to keep you warm. We'll move indoors at dusk. Hope to see everyone around 4 (except Sparky of course) 😜
