Oh, and can we please have a stop to these damn showers? We've gotten a lot of rain lately and it doesn't look like it's going to stop in the near future!

We had rain, sleet and snow over the past 12 hours or so. I felt like I needed a squeegee not a shovel. But it will melt quickly.

Time to take a shower and start getting ready for the dinner-dance today from the dance club. Last week I decided to run out to the mall to see if I could find a new dress. Neither of the two stores that I went to had anything as nice as what I already have in my closet! People do get dressed up for these dances. And so, the search continues for something new for the June dance!

It is so hard to find clothes that are not overpriced and made out of decent fabric. Shirts are a perfect example, most are made out of super thin fabric.

Nice sunny day today. Reached the low 50's. Got out this morning for a bike ride. Plan is to get out again tomorrow. Getting a late start on the training for the MS rides.

Low 50's?!!! That is winter
We have been in the upper 80's.

I was able to get all the dogs and cats bathed today. We had a light sprinkle this afternoon.

You all really ought to check out Cal Tech, Harvey Mudd and UC Irvine toward the end of April.

No no...you're not getting it...you *really* should check out Harvey Mudd, Caltech, and especially UC Irvine the weekend of the 29th...

Kiddo turns out to be a great traveller, at least this time. Nary a peep on either 5+ hour flight, adjusted relatively easily to the time zones, and still a happy camper.

Phew!

Only catch is he's waking up at nice reasonable times on EDT rather than PDT. I need more sleep.

Oh, I got it
I just can't convince them that we have to go then. for some strange reason, my son wants to make sure not to miss his AP exams
That and we have state mandated testing from now until almost the end of the school year, so the chances of me getting time off isn't that great

Glad to hear he is a good traveler! Take him everywhere you can, it will help when he gets older. My kids went everywhere with us when they were younger, and would fall asleep just about anywhere we put them.

Ugh...so I made the mistake of leaving Passover shopping until this morning. Local grocery store was chaotic of course.

Then I had scheduled some garden renewal. Then I found the insane number of bricks the previous owner had buried 6" under the top of the soil. Several hours later, about 500 lbs of bricks have been removed, some new soil added, and new plants planted. I'm sore!

Oh yeah...and made matza farfel, chicken soup, matza balls, and mocha nut squares for tomorrow's seder. 14 eggs down...another dozen will get used by this time tomorrow. There's a reason we also call it the festival of cholesterol.

You could have just uncovered the bricks, hosed them off and told Molarchae that you built a patio.
