I'd go for Provence, since the food is awesome, the climate is great and the lifestyle more agrarian than the rest of France.

Sonoma...it's so much more chill than Napa. And California is hard to beat.

There are few places that I have been that are more beautiful than some of the winding, tree-canopied roads in west Paso Robles, so I would have to buy one there, more for the beauty of the surroundings than anything else, though much of the wine from that region is excellent as well.

I would have to go with the Rhine River valley in Germany, I lived there for five years, and would love to go back. Not just for the wine but also the food.

Paso Robles...great weather, away from the population centers, fantastic wine and variety.

I picked Marlborough because it was the only NZ option there, but really... any place in NZ -- north island or south -- would be fantastic. Went on a hiking tour there 10 years ago. Beautiful scenery, nice people, great food and wine.

Virginia; because they have wineries and I like Virginia.
