Get on board, and start freezing your wallet now if you don't want it to break itself out when something you missed but reeealy wanted shows up again.

This offer is identical to the previous one.

1 Red Zeppelin Syrah

Oh, and if you want to look for jwhite's spreadsheet, you can find it here.

Winery Website. I knew I was forgetting something!

Not too many to count, but dang. This place has a way of building a cellar for you.

i did just try the red zeppelin from the last offering and it was quite good... must try to resist

If they had a normal wine club, the ones we opened from the last offering would have gotten us to join. I tucked the black zeppelin away in the wine fridge, so I'm very excited to have some around again. If there wasn't the possibility of more Ty Caton coming up I'd probably be in for 3.

Highly recommended.

Tempted, I had the two non-black zepplin wines and they were both very good.

That being said, not sure if I can afford more wine

I'd be in if I hadn't just ordered 3 of the Helix 4-set.

Wonder if we'll see any Tudor or Kent today? sigh, so much for getting any work done.

Ugh... Got the 3 pack a month ago and had one. It was very good.

What the heck, I am in for another 3 pack...

I like the wine.wootoffs. In the future, maybe I'll get a smaller order to see if I like them first. For instance here, the Vinidiction I had was enough to keep me from ordering this again (it was way to candy like).

Just finished my last three pack -- Black Zepp was by far the best, loved the NV Vindication, but the 05 Syrah wasn't my fav -- I'd have to look at my CT notes to remember why, for sure . . . Maybe I can gift that one & enjoy the other two??

Does Red Zeppelin not have a wine club for a reason?

Rumors of more Ty Caton are out there?

I heart Woot-offs!

"We hear of the conversion of water into wine at the marriage in Cana as of a miracle. But this conversion is, through the goodness of God, made every day before our eyes. Behold the rain which descends from heaven upon our vineyards, and which incorporates itself with the grapes, to be changed into wine; a constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy." I bought three sets last time and have only tried the Syrah and Black. Loved them both so I am in for 3 more. Woot is killing me! I love this stuff and must impose the SIWWBM or however they abbreviate it. LOL

Thanks Woot for another go-round with this wine.

Oof. I was disappointed I passed this up the first time, I won't be disappointed again! Even though I just ordered the Scott Harvey 3 pack on monday.. and had to pay for some car repairs after offroading in the snow (don't ask).. my CC is hurting! Damn you wine.woot.

I do believe the one you are referring to is the SIWBM, or Self Imposed Wine Buying Moderation. Another that may prove useful is SWMBO, or She Who Must Be Obeyed. YMMCV, but I'd bet one of those two fits your needs here.

Thanks -- I had looked at the website & it just said "contact us" to order the wine -- so I hadn't gone on beyond that point. On the other hand -- I may buy this & then wait & see what else the WD has for us during the woot-off!

Hey HouTX -- wanna trade the 05 Syrah for the NV Vindication? Based on our CT notes -- we have different, yet similar, palates -- I def agree with the "no decanting" conclusion on the Vindication, but did prefer it to the Syrah.

I'm in for one & waiting with baited breath for the next offering!

Ack! I just started cracking into my last three pack... Was going to open the black tonight... Already had the Vindication and it was quite tasty. Very drinkable right out of the bottle, and over time I thought it got better and mellowed out nicely. Although a good friend of mine claimed it got too sweet for him.

This sold out last time it was on here, to the point that the winery was kind enough to honor the price for a few more days.

Question is... do I get more, as it was quite a good deal last time.... Hrm...

Just buy some used or wait for the big end of the season sales and then you can get more wine!

I'm excited. Now I don't have to share from my stash...I can send my Dad his very own 3-Pack. What's better than father-daughter bonding over wine (he helped me labrat this).

I was kind of bummed I didn't get this the first time, so I'm glad it's up again. This is my 2nd woot; my first being the Reboot bubbly I got for NYE. I must admit, I like the labels more than anything. I think I'll enjoy a bottle while watching The Song Remains The Same when it arrives.

You could try the previous discussion on this wine. It was quite informative with the owner weighing in many times.

It was linked near the top.

I think the short answer is: they're all ready to drink now, though a year or two probably wouldn't hurt them (especially the black). I don't think mine will last that long though - they're tasty NOW.

Though I haven't tried it yet... the Black is the flagship wine for the vineyard, so I'm assuming that one is the best.

I passed it up before as well. I feel this may be destiny...

But like others, wine.woot has me broke. I've become more selective in my choices. I really want to purchase this set...

Here are recent reviews on CT for Red Zeppelin wines. Look like they are more in the fruit bomb direction. Not my cup o' tea, but the price is not too bad, either

Cabernet Franc: it's not just for blending! It's also for blogging.

Here in Nevada, we're facing even harder times than we're currently experiencing.
Before things get any more difficult, I'm going to enjoy some good wine. If you wait, you may find yourself wishing to partook when the taking was good.
