The newer HP's now have separate inks for all the colors, at least on the newer ones I've seen.

I do still like my old Brother all in one. And they have the separate inks too.

My bike ride for MS is this weekend. I will be riding 70 miles this Sunday. I have gotten great support from several of the wooters. And I really appreciate it. There is still time to get in on the action, and I can use the help in getting to my goal of $5000. Very close, so this is the last push. Link is in my signature. Thanks for your consideration, and support.

And my reward for the work is, of course, a nice bottle of wine with steaks that night. How else can I keep pedaling?

Funny. I just saw that up on Lot18 like 2 days ago and I had meant to comment on here how that looked like quite a weird one...and expensive.
I could be remembering incorrectly, but I think we might be getting a bit better price here.

Hmm. Woot Plus deals are multi day offerings. If they do add in a discussion thread for each deal, could we then bring back the lab rat program for these?

More generally, I miss the days when we had the time to discuss the offer, debate with the winemaker, have labrats chime in, and generally create a community. With a deal a day, it simply doesn't happen.

It may be due to my lack of participation, but how many winemakers recently has the wine woot community formed a bond with? All the winemakers I can think of come from "earlier" times: Peter Wellington, Roessler, Scott Harvey, Cathy Corison, Twisted Oak, Joy from Iron Horse, Pedroncelli...

My pool is in the 60's you could drop your bottles in the bottom until you get your cooler and I have to drain it.
I'm sure there will be no harm done.

Agreed. I saw my phone message for todays wine woot this morning when I woke up and wanted to vomit. Generally bacon in the morning is a good thing, but I could not get passed the idea of a bacon spread. Yuck!

Just a reminder that Krispy Kreme Donuts has a free donut today. No purchase necessary.

Edit: And since to day is National Doughnut Day, it seems that most of the bigger retailers are offering a free donut too. Now if only Dunkin' was in more places in California. And not just inside Camp Pendleton.

The recent R2 offers have been a dud sales wise so I don't know how much of the bros Roessler we will see around here.

The Black Pine was OK but I felt it was drinking at the woot price point or less not the winery price point making it seem like not a deal. Now the Rhapsody on the other hand was simply divine and I am holding onto that for a little bit unless I can find some more discounted.

Nope.

Dallas entrepreneur Craig Hall and his wife Kathryn, owners of Napa Valley’s Hall winery, are taking on a new challenge. The couple has acquired majority ownership in Roessler, a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producer based in Sonoma. Founder Roger Roessler will remain a partner and be involved in the sales and promotion of the brand. The sale price was not disclosed.
