Let's Have A Quiet Day

There are days when a person just doesn't feel like going out and having fun. Days when it just seems right to have a quiet, respectful night in with a glass of wine.

There's no shame in reflecting. Even the most explosive sixteen-year-old boy will occasionally want to take a nap on the beach. We need to remember, occasionally. We need to just sit down and think about what was, and where we'll be going next. Possibly that's why our forefathers invented wine in the first place. How could they be expected to think great thoughts on their own?

The 2007 Casa de la Cruz Estate Pinot Noir is the sort of wine that might keep you company on a slow and thoughtful night, or maybe during a long-awaited dinner with an old friend. It'll work well with a quiet autumn dinner of warm mushrooms and polenta, and four bottles means you might be able to save one for the first barbecue of the year. It's velvet and gentle and a nice mix of raspberry, cherry, and Santa Rosa plum. Not flashy. Just mature.

Sometimes in life you just wanna sit down and reflect. Look at this 2007 Casa de la Cruz Estate Pinot Noir as the perfect company for a thoughtful kind of day.
