A New Kind Of Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, there was an shy little duckling, and a 2-pack of Iron Horse Vineyards Fairy Tale Celebration Cuvée.

The duckling always sat alone, because it thought it was ugly, and it had no confidence. Until one night when the moon was full, and it noticed the Iron Horse Vineyards Fairy Tale Celebration Cuvée Two Pack was right there on the table, beside an enchanted plastic cup that was sort of clean.

On the first sip, the shy little duckling noticed the nose. Strawberry and ripe red apple, the duckling’s favorite fruits! On the second, the shy little duckling noticed the flavors: apricot, cherry, strawberry and cardamom. And on the third, the shy little duckling was starting to come up with the BEST pick up lines ever! Like “Quack quack quack? Quack QUACK quack quack!”

About an hour later, the falsely-confident little duckling was standing on a table with a lampshade on his head, pouring Iron Horse Vineyards Fairy Tale Celebration Cuvée for all his new friends. And he lived happily ever after. Until he woke up the next morning, that is.

2007 Fairy Tale Celebration Cuvée 2-Pack

The  2007 Fairy Tale Celebration Cuvée is without a doubt the most "celebratory" of Iron Horse's Sparklings. Made from predominantly Pinot Noir, it has an exhilarating rosé color.  The 2007 vintage is elegant, vibrant and creamy.  Available only at Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Cruise ships and through the winery. 
 
By nose strawberry, minerality and ripe red apple. In the mouth apricot, cherry, strawberry and cardamom, cinnamon with lime at the finish. Ideal with party fare; perfect brunch wine– eggs, berries, salmon and even waffles, excellent as an aperitif, for toasts and even a nightcap.
 
Fairy Tale Celeberation Cuvée is Iron Horse's interpretation of a Blanc de Noirs. In blending this wine they choose Pinot Noir lots that are extremely expressive and fruit forward (including some lots originally intended for our Brut Rosé). Then in a decided step away from convention, they blended in a bit of steely Chardonnay to add a firm acid backbone. Hand harvested in the chill of early morning our Pinot Noir is gently pressed as whole clusters. The juice slowly ferments in stainless steel tanks at 62° to 65° f retaining bright fruit aromas and flavors in the wine.
