Inspiration Estate 2008 Chardonnay
The Truth!
Friends and Coworkers, it is with great sadness that I must hereby turn in my resignation.
When I first started at Winsted Communications, I thought I had found my place. Here, it seemed that creativity and innovation were valued. Here, it seemed I was not only allowed to be myself; I was lauded for being myself.
As it turns out, I was wrong.
For three straight months, I have submitted help ticket after help ticket requesting the addition of a second water cooler, only this one would hold Inspiration Estate 2008 Chardonnay instead of water. With the grace and eloquence that only a marketing copywriter can summon, I argued the wine’s merits; its balance of acid and fruit, its vanilla on the nose, its minerality and abundance of pears and apples on the finish would serve as a reminder to us all that perfection is possible! It would help us get through those long days and (even more so) those late nights!
But alas, the help tickets were never processed, which sent the message loud and clear: Winsted Communications does NOT, as I once believed, value inspiration! So, for this reason, I must tender my resignation. From here on out, I will be working freelance, from home, where I can imbibe all of the Inspiration I need.
It has been a pleasure working with you all.
