Oh man, a Ty Caton?! I'm in for one. The last woot xmas wine was fantastic! I can't wait to try this one. Ty Caton is always a no-brainer right?

Debating on getting this one or not.... seems a little pricey for something that appears to be just a table wine.

We just opened a Blitzen last night and finished it tonight. Excellent wine for the dollar! A no-brainer unless you are completely out of wine storage. Heck, we opened 3 bottles tonight(1 corked) and still don't have any significant space for new purchases. S[torage]IWBM.

This might be the TyC to get since the QPR is destined to be better than his other offerings.

Yes, here is the 2009 breakdown (from CT):

Still the exact same alcohol % as 2010 even with the CS/Syrah swap.

This may get me. I have a $5 coupon and I absolutely loved the Field Blend (2 left -- one from my hoarding and the other from the lovely bahwm and ddog). Probably in for one. SWMBO is going to hang my ass.

Edit: in for one. Assist goes to the rough week I had last week plus the rough week ahead and a big glass of Chardonnay.

Over the years I've learned a valuable lesson about Ty Caton Wines on Woot - If I don't order the max, I end up regretting it later! In for 3.

I've got an o5 field blend red red still tasting good. So I would say drink between now and 7 years. If you drink this now, decant first for 20-30 min or use a decants.

It's just how the blending turned out this year. Every year us different and we do everything blind

Hi Ty, Can you shed some light on what exactly "certified sustainable" means, out of curiosity?
Apologies if you have answered that question a million times.

I just shared a 2006 TyTanium over the weekend. Everyone loved it. Warm tannins and pepper laid over dark fruit with low residual sugar. It drank like meeting an old friend after a prolonged absence.

You can never go wrong with Ty . . . in for three! My cellar was completely out of Caton, except for a few bottles of TyTanium I'm saving for the long haul. I was thrilled to see Ty's Red on here today!

HWMBO is just going to have to understand that this is too good to pass up....

Regardless of whether it's sweet or dry, this simply is something I must try. No matter the reason or the season, you wouldn't want to look back thinking, "why oh why?" So, as you can see, take it from me, it's always smart to trust in Ty.

The x3 of 2009 Ty's Red didn't last the summer. In for x3 more this time.

To me this is close enough to the 2005 Field blend (which is one of my favorite blends of all time). I still have 6 that I am hoarding and cant seem to drink. Very excited about this and in for 2!! even though I am totally broke
