Wine Barrel Wine Stave Bottle Balancer $6.99 + $5 shipping CONDITION: New PRODUCT: 1 Wine Stave Bottle Balancer
This. Not. Wine. Or. Food. Do. Not. Want. NEXT!!!
Ha ! I clicked a picture of some interesting Zin and found this instead. Gotta be quick during these Woot offs I guess.
Haven't seen more D'ontspille Le Black offered in a loooong time...
I guess I'm not sure what this thing does. The name suggests it balances bottles? I wasn't aware my bottles needed balancing.
I don't trust my wine + gravity.
Got 3 of these back in January. They look good (had the cable guy offer me $20 for one), but each one is cut a little differently resulting in 1 that is incredibly hard to get balanced properly. They also have a wine soaked layer that chips off of the backside as you handle them.

Just what I was thinking: I'll balance my own wine, just sell me some more of the D'ontspille pinot noir.
Wine=3 non wine=3 The duel is on! I did buy these last time around. Wish the finish was a bit more "polished"
Purchased one of these in a wine.woot a while back. Pretty nifty, inexpensive way to show off a bottle without being gaudy or showy. They're made at a winery from the barrels the wine was once aged in, giving each a nice unique appearance.
In for 3 to give as gifts...it's certainly a talking point piece...while they talk, I drink.

Am I the only one who wonders why you didn't sell it to him?
Finally, These are too cool and besides great gifts make great conversation pieces. Giving a pair to a cousin that shares some really great homemade wine with me. WineMe x 2
Auto-pour for your wine! Just pop the cork and wait. Wish I could drink fast enough to need one of these.... And I would need to be much shorter....

I should have, but they were designated for gifting. But since they've been in just about every woot-off since, I still could have come out ahead. Oh well...
And you won't. I believe the last of it was sold on 1/18/12.

PM 4u
Bought a couple the last time they were offered. Makes a pretty cool conversation piece as well as a nice gift.
CEO's birthday soon, hope he likes it, paired with a nice red of course.

ideal for when you are laying flat on the floor and want to auto pour directly into your mouth.

Isn't your cable box acting up? Like once a week, at least until the same technician comes by? lol...
I have one left I'd be willing to part with if anyone wants. Just PM me.
I like weird things, and so found these really interesting and bought 3. I gave 2 of them to friends/family that are wine fans, and they were less than impressed. So if you are giving them as gifts, make sure the recipient likes quirky things. FYI.
Am I the only one that thinks that it would be easier to make one of these? Drill a hole in a board and cut with miter saw. Better get some cheap wine to test it on.
Sure, you could make one for yourself, but then you'd have to go through all that trouble of, you know, making it. Also, unless you have a stave from a wine barrel lying around, it's not going to look as cool.

Exactly my experience! I have one and like it, but the 2 people I gave them to as gifts were very confused and I don't think ever used them, even after I demonstrated how to do it...but I still think it's a cool idea.
