You hook the main unit in a room that has a phone jack. The wireless one can go anywhere. I have maybe 5 handsets? You can get them with an intercom feature which I love. You can call a person in another room.

I don't have a landline anymore but I still use these for the intercom feature.

Hmmm. I have a Uniden cordless but it's pretty old. Doubt if I could get a second handset for it.

Usually Woot has some but haven't noticed any this time.

I missed the leakfrogs.

I am now sad because I wanted leakfrogs, the last time they were on Sellout my package got lost, and they didn't have any more at the time.

These are dark times. Well, damp times.


It's an ugly blue tinged overcast foggy haze around the Space Needle this morning. I can see the various microclimates from here, but I think maybe some of it will burn off by afternoon. I hope so, I have things to do after work.

Actually, I would love to take a train across Canada and catch a cruise portion up into Alaska. That is on my bucket list.

Re the Uniden phone - I too bought some here. They are the Dect 6 - and there is a base which plugs into the phone line and 3 sets which just need electricity to charge. They are all failing. Found a great buy in Staples for a Panasonic set - same Dect 6 designation - 1 base and 1 charger. I replaced the Uniden base with the Panasonic and put the new charging unit set in another place. Got busy and forgot to disconnect the Unidens - they all love each other, and work as a team!! Hope this makes sense! Just cannot use two primary base units I guess - or I should say I have not tried that.

Pemberducky gave me a keychain size monkey with a pink cape. Ducky is pretty awesome anyway, but I'd like to mention how nice she is.

For an animal who gets poo stuck to his fur that then drops somewhere in the house, for me to find.....you would think he would do more to keep me happy.
He know that too. I just had to brush his butt to get it clean. He didn't like it, but he let me do it. POOP I should shave his ass. That might work.

Cats' sense of entitlement - huge! My cat is not allowed on the table - ever. I have had him for 8 years. When he wanted to move from one chair to another while I and/or guests were sitting and eating, he would do so from under the table (which in the kitchen area has a square glass top). Within the past 6 months (actually since the older cat died), he simply walks across the tabletop. All of my no's, hand movements, etc. - no effect. Nobody respects me! And it is right in my face here with my animals!!!
