Sunny and breezy today - about 82 now, clear blue sky. I keep remembering why I moved here and why I really would hate a year-round Seattle. Could be, as I have said, a "rainbird" instead of a snow bird.

GMan - I'm sorry you didn't sleep well. Orc has the same problem (worse because he can't use his CPAP well). I'm sure there's a 100X more pollen in your neighborhood than ours though.

Rained all night, but sunny so far. I could do Seattle, if I could just afford to live there (and I know with all the cool events, the afford part would be a big issue - self restraint here I lack). Ver2 really wanted to move there all last year (now she wants to go to Kindergarten where Ver1 goes to school), she loved the pink clouds.

They're starting on the deck. Ripping off the old one and I think they're going to dig the post holes today.

Yeah, but it would solve the problem.

Personally, I like plants. I do not like everyone getting all foggy headed from the pollen. It's annoying for those of us who have to try to communicate with stuffy grumpy people too. Oh and I only get headaches from the stuff.

Yeah, but you and yours are allergic to virtually everything else.

I don't dislike plants. And I generally don't have much problem with allergies, but it's very heavy this year and my health isn't what it was.

Kids have some food allergies, Orc is allergic to pollen, me I have a cat allergy, oh and the sun, but that's just weird and may not be an allergy - yet the treatment is the same and it costs a lot of money to figure out what exactly it is, so we go with allergy.

Arghhh. Just back from Carrabba's. They have a "secret" menu that they sent me a while back, so I had the freduchini. Chicken marsala on top of fetuchini alfredo. So good. So full.

Evening everyone.

Been super busy. Niece entered into a program last week to finish up her final credits for HS early. Only difference in her diploma is that she doesn't have a final class ranking, which doesn't matter for Community college. She finished Tuesday. Still has prom, graduation, etc. but doesn't have to go to class anymore. She is technically graduated!

Have had other family type drama - not worth mentioning at this second, and work has been crazy.

Is niece registered for community college now or is she going to work the rest of the term and start in the summer/fall?

I'm sorry for crazy work. I thought this new place was supposed to be better.

She is in the process for the registration for fall term. She's going to work for now.

She's a happy camper. Finally got her driver's license, car so she has some freedom and is happy. I'm happy I don't have to pick her up from work at night anymore.

Job wasn't supposed to be this busy - but no one had a clue how many things we really needed to improve and change. No matter what though - it was a good career move for me. A really good one, so I don't regret it. Might move on in another year after I get some more stuff cleaned up, but it has been good experience.
