Beautiful breezy morning - now overcast & getting ready for afternoon rain.

Kind of an odd spring here - but not bad, nothing is as bad as living up in New England - even tornado/hurricane threats from time to time. I am soooo glad to be rid of the ice and snow of the winters of old.

I have one that I think has changed, but not for probably a decade now. I was told to watch it when I said I thought it looked a little different. I used to burn my ears and shoulders every year as a kid, sometimes a few times in the summer since it never really faded to a tan.

I'll have insurance soon, I'll add it to the list of things to have them poke at with a magnifying glass.

Are there any health fairs held close enough that you could go? All of the ones I've been to have had a dermatologist who would look at specific concerns, though not a whole body review. They're cheap, sometimes free.

I'm not sure if we have a dermatologist in the area. The University has a health fair (I'm sure it already happened this year seeing as it's dead week), but I'm not sure how good community participation is right now. I also have the little issue of Orc's new job being on the other side of the stateline, so I might have to look for doctors over there... that may actually be a good thing though.

Yep. Nobody cares about the phosphorus runoff from the hundreds of millions of acres of agriculture land in the country, because they're too busy freaking out (and creating knee-jerk legislation) over the trivial amount of phosphates from residential detergents that might just barely possibly make it past the water treatment facilities to get into the local rivers. Sorry if I offend anyone, but dang, those stupid PNW hippies really screwed the rest of the country on that one.

From what I've gathered from hanging around the coupon junkies, best deals on phosphate containing laundry detergent is Ariel brand (found at your local mexican grocery), and for dishwashers, "commercial grade" Cascade powder (from your local restaurant supply store).

Hrmmm. this could be interesting. Somewhat on a whim, I threw my resume in the ring last week for a job opening with a company just down the street from home, and they want a phone interview! Could be a good career move, but leaves a LOT of questions. I've never just up and changed jobs before, and don't want to leave the folks here in the lurch if I do get an offer with this other prospect. Suppose I should just take this one step at a time and see how the interview goes first?
