We got more Orange once. Why did I wake up at 03:13 PST? To unknowingly get in on this of course. Was gonna gift two more; not. SO. FTW! It's not even 0700...

One bottle winging its way to me! I still have a bottle and a half, but must strike when the opportunity presents itself. Nothing like the big gold button bouncing at 8:10 am to get your heart going. After months of waiting, wondering and begging, there are many happy wine.wooters today. Too bad there will be many sad wine.wooters when they realize they missed this one!

You've got to be kidding me! I've been hearing about the balsamic for months -- months! -- and it finally lands on woot with enough to sell out before I turn on the computer in morning. Aarrgh!

Riddled with disappointment! Why tease us with such a limited offer that it's already sold out before the majority of us have arisen for the day?! C'mon woot. . . waited so long for the basalmic to come back up!

1,800 woots is not limited for wine.woot. Thats more units than out the door in some entire woot-offs.

I'm really not surprised this sold out so quick. I'm also really glad that I have a couple bottles stashed away that I keep telling hubby are for 'gifts' for people... Afterall, I'm a people too...

I will be going to the grocery store tonight to get the ingredients for some homemade vanilla icecream. This has me in a culinary-minded mood now.

This is exactly why I have never understood the West Coast consternation. If I want to see the deal, that night (well, day, technically) I have to be up at 1am. Sometimes happens, mostly doesn't.

I guess, if you are in bed by 10pm time, and you are NOT up by 6am, then no one really is sad. If you go to bed at 11, and wake up at 7, then you should have checked the night before. It works both ways.

That said, I am still ecstatic about this offer. I just broke open my final bottle a week ago. This will ensure wonderfulness for a good while.

Freaked out when I saw it was bouncing, freaked out more when I saw that the max was 2 (wondering if they were "the last two" in stock), and continued freaking out when I realized I haven't yet committed the new security code on my CC to memory.

tl;dr - in for 2. YAY!

I ordered as I was heading out the door at 5:30. I double checked the card from in the gym bag, as I did not want to get rejected later.

And snuck in a gift bottle on my wife's ID. I knew I should have done two there as well. Only problem would be that so many would want it.

Nahhh....got two last night before going to bed

The trick is not to fall asleep before 10:01PM PT...like I did two days ago when Stillman's Chateau d' Abalone popped up and promptly sold out...oh well, can't win them all.

Yeah - I can't complain - I check religiously at 10pm - so just bummed.

I just got done with a 2 week project, was exhausted and couldn't keep my eyes open past 9:45pm (I tried). At least the last woot off was helpful as I got to see just about all of that while working!

Just hoping WD may have a couple squirreled away somewhere

I'm sad I missed this; I didn't get my email from Woot on time this morning to remember to check, so I'm blaming Woot

I want everybody that pulled the trigger for the first time on this to come back here after you've tried it and let us know what you think.

This stuff is amazing. First time I bought it, I gave a bottle of it to my mom for Christmas. I will never, ever, give another bottle of this away again. There is nobody I like enough to share this with. :p

Thanks for relieving me of my (admittedly brief) buyers guilt that West Coasters were missing out, when in actually you get a chance at deals two hours before me! I can enjoy my lovely two bottles of balsamic vinegar without reservation!

No one actually "gets to enjoy" something before someone else. If anything, it is West Coasters because their orders ship, and they get them sooner. As for woot, it is 1am, Central Time. Period. Everyone gets to enjoy it at the same time.

Now, if you want to go into when people are up, etc. Go ahead. But, to claim people don't get the same chance is asinine. People in sweeden, provided they have a valid US--shipping state--address, can get in on it.

Wow, keithnowak7, my post was meant to be lighthearted and funny. I'm fully cognizant of the fact that when it's 10:00 pm in Cali that it's midnight (not 1:00 a.m. BTW, time diff is 2 hours, not 3) here in CST. Believe me, it was meant in a joking manner. And thanks for correcting my misspelled words. I'm sure you know that it's Sweden, not "sweeden", too, right?

polishwine wrote:Has anyone also had the Williams Sonoma 25 year balsamic and can compare the two?

No, but I've also got a bottle of B.R. Cohn 25 year old "Balsamic". I actually did a head-to-head tasting once and there was just no contest. The 25 y.o. was flat and single note in comparison to the Cavedoni. It tasted like strawberries (which is mostly a good thing) but just didn't have the acid-sugar balance and omgiwantmore quality to it that the Cavedoni has.

2013: 35 bottles. Last wine.woot: Diamond Ridge Cab Franc. Last split: R. Merlo Pinot Noir

My bad. I missed my underlined red squiggly. You do understand there is another time zone to the east, beyond central, no? Sorry. Although I am not, go ahead, tell a New Yorker that if it is 10pm in Cali it can only be 2 hours where from you are. Oh, they are on the east coast? So am I. So, it is 3. Nonetheless, you can't get inflection, sarcasm, or tone on boards. Apologies. But, 10pm in cali is most certainly 12pm not on the east coast.
