Well dang that was fast! Folks still in Woot-off mode around here?

SOLD OUT before 10am (cst)...the horrors of it. Are you sure there's no more? WD, got a back up wine for today? What are we to do all day until midnight? The folks on the West Coast didn't even get a shot at this.

They got their shot at this before they went to bed. The Left Coast has the advantage.

I'm in LA, had 3 hrs to make the buy as I get to work at 5am

Boy, what a hostile group! I'm in Chicago and said this tongue in cheek to see what response it would generate. It did. Looks like we can keep the forum going.

1 a.m. for some of us. I didn't make it last night, went to bed as the wine stave votive holder offer was dragging along. My gut told me that the woot-off was over and that the repeat of that item from several hours earlier indicated it was just a placeholder until the next regular offer. In the past, woot has kept the wootoff lights up but made them stop flashing when it was the final item but apparently they want to keep us guessing now.

Wow, that's a shame. I would have gone in on this one, given the rave reviews for the prior vintage. Oh well.

Quick math comment: first Woot offer, 215 cases sold. This offer, 166 cases sold. Total lot made: 447 cases. So, WineSpies had available, at the most, 58 cases. Looks like Wine Woot could have sold the entire lot...just saying.

Scott said he had 170 cases left before the start of this woot. He may have rounded up the 166 or whatever, but for all intents and purposes, this wine is now gone.

So dissappointed! Ah well.

Scott, was there an earlier vintage of Pinot that didn't include Syrah blended in that is still up for grabs some time?

Ah, damn. I haven't seen a decent deal like this in quite a while. I've been fairly disappointed with the price per bottle on wine.woot lately. I used to buy fairly regularly when they sold more in the $10-15/bottle price mark, but the last year or so seems like it's been around $15-25/bottle. While I'm sure those particular wines are worth it, they just don't seem like that great of a deal to me.
Also, more sake!

Dang it... stuck in a meeting ALL freakin morning. Broke for lunch and popped on to order this. SOLD OUT. sad, sad, sad

Having resisted all but the PS woot-off offerings, I feel happy to have snatched up one set of this pinot. Anyone familiar with the Belle Glos Meiomi care to compare/contrast with the Gazzi? $5 delta to one of my favorite daily drinkers.

Only a little after noon and now I have to wait another 12 hours for the next wine.woot deal!?

Not sure if it's still available, but the 2006 was 100% Pinot and is still drinking very well. I preferred it to the 2007, others did not.

We have been lacking some semi sweet whites and with the incredibly warm winter we have had here (the Road Runners are even out) I could really use some.

However I know I am in the vast minority.

Mine too, and not all that well chilled, but as a bonus there were four bottles of Fattoria Vignavacchia Chianti Classico Riserva that came as well. Gonna visit a market for some hot bread for the office lunch today. Yeah Friday!

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Any other poor souls out there check this site about five more times after the sell-out? ... just in case.

I think I'm stuck in woot-off mode.
