I was surprised by how much I enjoy the dark milks from the last offering- it's not remotely like whatever you're thinking of as milk chocolate. It was however eaten exclusively as an "I want chocolate desert" not "I want chocolate" item. It's very very nice in that context.

I'm actually OK with them not including the Chile bar this time- it just doesn't work nearly as well with those huge pieces. You can't properly appreciate it. Anyone who had the chile bar in the old 2x5 piece format can back me up that the smaller (~1/3 the size) pieces were the perfect amount to put on your tongue and enjoy the fireworks!

Hey Wooters, because of your input we created the chile Cobanero bar, are there any other Wooters interested in Guatemalan coffee or a choco-coffee bar? Please let us know here, on our website or FB -thanks!

BTW, the Chile Chocolate is the best decongestant I've ever had. Got me through a january cold

I agree completely regarding the Sea Salt and the Chile versions of the 70% Dark. Without them, I am a pass on this one.

No Sea Salt!?!?! Now that's a bummer as that is my favorite from the last order. On a positive note, my wife loves the Milk Chocolate even though she is not a fan of cinnamon.

I plan to get 3 again just to keep her happy, but the lack of the Sea Salt has me less than enthused since I still have a number of bars left from the last order of 3 sets.

Please bring the Sea Salt back for the next Woot and I'll ping you via your website as well since I don't do FB.

I bought these in November Woot and I am havinging the last bar today. It could be a sign! The chocolate itself was good I found the texture of the chilies in the bars that had them to be unplesant for me, it was like eating chili flakes right out of the bottle, but all the flavors here are great!

[EDIT] The sea salt was delicious!

I am flying in to Santa Rosa with barely a couple of hours before flying out again from Sonoma Co. airport. Any advice as to wineries/wine shops close by that I could make a hit and run? Thanks

Well, I tried. I must have filled out that order page 5 times but each time got a different error - my order never did go through (was trying to send as a gift). Anyone else having this problem??

Perfect!! These three were our favorites from the five choices in the last Woot offering. Thank you. In for three.

Please consider changing your chocolate molds back to the old format. I liked the 10 pieces per bar rather than the current three huge pieces. One of these pieces is too much to eat in one shot.

I would love a coffee bar! Also orange or mint would be delicious as well. I had a delicious Orange/Chili/Cinnamon chocolate bar over Christmas. The flavors were very subtle but present, not overpowering the chocolate.

Just make sure you include the Sea Salt in the next woot!

Not that I'm calling you Ok, I love you, buh-bye! or anything but it's Thursday and there has been a non-wine item, usually food, every Thursday for a long time now...

Bigger pieces = you'll eat more = they'll sell more = more $$ for the manufacturer.

(Yes, I like smaller pieces too!)

It's always interesting when the nutritional information is for a serving size that isn't easily eaten - in this case the serving size is 1/2 bar, but they're scored to thirds...

What is the packaging of these things like? I bought two orders of the toffee because they came in nice boxes and would make nice gifts for the ladies. A candy bar isn't quite the same thing.
Also, guys, if you are controlling your weight like me (recently lost 35 pounds) the first step for self control begins at the store. If its not purchased, you won't eat it.

I would guess one of the biggest factors in the bigger pieces is to reduce breakage. It probably helps with shipping and handling as well.

I've been drinking Guatemalan coffee for years, as well. It used to be hard to find, however with Whole Foods and HEB Central Market near my home, it's no longer a problem.

That last bar of chocolate, made with almonds and cinnamon is the traditional Mexican blend. You can sample it at any Mexican market. Usually, it goes into the making of Mole sauce.

Agreed on all counts. The "dark milk chocolate" is more sweet and less bitter than higher-percentage dark chocolate, sure; but it's still very deep & rich, very high quality chocolate. It's serious chocolate, and it works.

And, as someone who's purchased a double portion of each of the last two offerings, I really miss the older smaller portioning, not just for the chile bar (which is always hotter than I expect, and I'm a fan of seriously picante foods) but for all of 'em. I like to have a little bite of good chocolate just about every evening, my little bite being more like 1/6 to 1/4 of a bar. 1/3 is more than I usually want, but whipping out a sharp knife to cut that third and then cleaning the knife is more bother than I can be bothered; so I end up eating the third of a bar. That is enough to dissuade me from re-upping this time. Otherwise, it's better quality chocolate than any of the ~8-10 comparably-priced brands available in my local stores.

Instead of just cutting one third in half each time you want, cut all three thirds when you open the bar, thus reducing your cutting/cleaning by 2/3rd per bar!
